Why toilets in Italian restaurants in Italy have no toilet seats? Ive experienced this in Italy many times.

Even if for some reason people in Italy steal toilet seats its not worth anything (I doubt it because even just walking out a restaurant with a toilet seat won't go unnoticed)
Italians aren't awake yet. Why this is a common sight in Italy?
Sometimes they even have a sign that says to not flush the toilet paper
if its the same reason here, they probably remove the seat because everyone would squat in front of the toilet to take a shit anyway so keeping the seat only gets in the way
