I always vote soc-dem which is considered "far-left" here, ironically, and further left than the "official" communist party. I may not agree with them on everything but they're the only ones working (at all) to make the country better.

Labor unions are punishable by death here in the Philippines. Labor laws are nonexistent, and you're expected to work to death for peanuts or not get paid with no jobs security. The lack of labor laws also mean the safety standards come out of a looney toons show. That's why a lot of right wing sexpats open their business here.
