>How did you come up with that?I hate this stupid question so much it's unreal.do they really assume there is a certain cognitively explainable process to COME UP WITH a specific idea?or do they demand me to teach them a state-of-the-art neuroscience?happens to you in your country?
If you have an idea it's reasonable to expect it originated from someplace: prior experience, induction or deduction, a dream you've had, etc. There's likely to be a cause for it.These people, presumably, if intrigued by your idea, are interested in learning by what process you arrived at it. They're probably not interested in what specific synapses were involved or how a neurosurgeon would explain it; they're looking for the general outline of the process, which you for obvious reasons are uniquely suited to provide. The point being, that seems like a normal question to ask. These people are either trying to be friendly or genuinely interested in your thought processes. Your failure to recognize politeness for what it is and/or to verbalize the rough outlines of your reasoning when prompted leads me to suspect that the problem may not be with these people but rather with your autistic self.
