They seem to be doing well despite doubling prices in the last decade or so, it got so bad they promised not to increase prices for a while and made a new poverty menu. The line at the McD's nearest my house never got shorter at any point either.

I don't even mind the new look, what truly killed it here is that it's only foreigners working there. Used to be 50% Slovenian students, 50% yugo wagies. Now it's 10% yugos, 90% browns

sorry i have no idea, i don't consume goyslop

the price almost doubled during last years (went from something like 3 euro to nearly 5 euro for a bigmac), but all the mcdonalds I see are always full of people regardless

Yah, our too. I just dont see the point anymore, If I want an expensive burger, I would just go somehwere else. Though I still sometimes have a craving for the very specific kind of burgerslop and frieslop taste.

Sadly they're still popular here and now we're getting all the other American slop like Wendy's and Taco Bell.

The big mac here used to be 8BRL in 2018, jumped to 16 in 2021 and is now sitting at 24. They keep progressing it more and more every couple of years and their burgers are still the same as ever. Service is really poor due to hiring cheap nordestinos for it all, the whole point of fast food is it being fast to prepare
Meat quality is still better than US Mcdonalds because the local branch here mostly uses brazilian meat which tends to be a particularly higher quality than US and Euro meat
They keep increasing the price on the sodas, fries, milkshakes and all that jazz to comical degrees to the point the only sensible option is taking 1-2 burgers home and just drinking what you already have at home with some chips. Genuinely in every combo like 70% of the price is skewed because of fries and soda, eating there is just not possible
Also Mcdonalds locations keep opening every which way where I live, one just recently took over a bar and another one is being built rn like 15mins from where I am. No clue where the fuck all thse Mcdonalds are coming from. We are having a similar situation with pharmacies where suddenly theres like 3-4 different ones on the same street barely 10 minutes away from each other many times being from the same brand even. I suspect money laundering in both cases

tbf, from everything that I have heard and seen, seems like a marginal improvement to most british take out fare.

They're not competing with each other, people will still get shit kebabs and fish and chips. We don't have much in terms of fast food like the American chains, Greggs and coffee shops like Costa, that's it.

Denmark has really good food. Probably the best I've had in Europe. Don't see why you'd ever go to maccy Ds, it's not even cheap anymore.

whopper > big mac

Let's see
It's pretty expensive for a fastfood, you could get a proper meal in the same price range as most of their burger combos. Service is always fast, I've never waited more than 5-8 minutes. Food's okay.
>>222399802
Yeah. There seems to be this weird thing, where people see American fastfood as almost some sort of status item, luxury even. I think it has to do with Poles being really poor in the 90s, when we started to import that shit. Regular burger places are also doing well here, though not as well as kebab shops.
I'm curious, how popular is Americanized food in Denmark? I know Norway eats a lot of pizza.

It's so sterile. Like walking into a forensic autopsy room.
The ordering touch screens are obnoxious and disgusting.
The junk food probably always was soulless but no amount of hunger can help denying it in this new setting.
>>
>>222399546
No, they are still expending here. Its the most reliable fast food chain, they do seasonal offerings tied to events and what not and probably the only international franchise that actually creates stuff inspired or influenced by local tastes and food
Compared to other US franchises they put in a lot of effort
