Ain't the first time a million signed petition was rejected by the EU. Ain't gonna be the last time either. They're like referendums. They are only accepted if the result aligns with the agenda of the leading parties.

Of course. If the EU really has to let millions of """refugees""" into my continent, because of muh human righterinos, then they can atleast make sure, that my Goyware doesn't disappear or is unusable one day, because the company said so.

The EU does not control the immigration policies of member countries. Russia wants to tie the EU to immigration because they hate the EU.

Ctrl-C/V, standard Russian shill point.

Another Russian lie is to point to Hungary by the way. That was about not following procedure. They could still have rejected all asylum applications.

https://www.politico.eu/article/hungary-approves-detention-transit-zones-for-asylum-seekers/

Russia wants to tie the EU to immigration because they hate the EU.
>>
>>222405555
The EU enforces regulations to all member states in regards of refugees under the rules of the 'Pact on Migration and Asylum' THOUGH. Also checked.

>The EU does not control the immigration policies of member countries.
i also think this, because my country didn't take in any nafris or middle easterners, but they've recently started importing foreign workers from south and southeast asia on work permits
>>
>>222403601
This is unfortunately true :(
>>
>noo think about muhh chud chink money grabber
>>
This is happening because the comission is chosen by the council and not the parliament, the way the executive is chosen in most European countries.
>>
>>222407334
No, it's happening because Ubisoft is a Euro company and the EU's goal is to patronize Euro companies and punish American ones.
If Ubisoft was based in LA, we'd be having an entirely different conversation.

Gamers just need to accept that time moves on and games are not some high art that is worth preserving they come and go

I mean songs and movies come and go as well and you still can buy a copy and play it. Why should it be different for games? It's understandable that companies want to move on and free resources, but they should atleast provide the tools for the players, so they can still play their game. Like enabling them to create their own dedicated servers.
>>
I suppose we could give it a try...

>claims to be a democracy
>requires some absurd amount of signings just for them to talk about something
>don't even talk about it
>throw it to the side and continue to collect a hefty paycheck despite not being elected
Just fucking dismandle EU at this point. Completely useless and corrupt.

Love the EU, hate Russia(ns who support the leadership, janny), simple as.

I dont understand stop killing games movement. According to stop killing games a company could pull the plug anytime they want and their games wouldnt be accessible to public ever again, and that is the main problem right? But the catch is that you could always pirate a video game and there will always someone, even in some deep rhodesian or amazonian jungle, who will seed that torrent and revive it from death and therefore you can always own and play your video game - assuming that you have a space to store that installation (torrent) and internet access to download or distribute that file. So why would you campaigning for something like this if the alternative is always there, free and accessible for everyone?
