ESLs, do you prefer American or British spelling when you are posting in our glorious language?
>>222409078i use both at once
>>222409078I confuse both sometimes but I prefer hearing british english over american english, it has more personality to it maybe im just so used to hearing american english that unless there's some like deeeeep Louisiana bayou accent it feels bland
AmericanThe days of Europeans badly emulating English accents has been over for the past half century We're all Americans now
>>222409119Valid. I kind of prefer a few British spellings like traveller myself.
I prefer the BE version instead of AE. It's also what we're taught here in Germany (and Europe in general). Hate both Bongs and Golems doe.
BothI say better as bĂȘ'r brit styleBut i say later as in lader americo style
>>222409078American. In Russian schools, they forced British English on us, but thankfully all the media and vidya were in American English, and I'm grateful to America for that.
>>222409160I'm a Southron myself, but I unfortunately have to remind you that you have been brainwashed into seeing (northern) American culture as the default. This is what most people mean when they say America has "no culture," it's like when idiots here say they have "no accent;" you're really saying America is *the* culture with *the* accent.
>>222409078I prefer australian
>>222409078i try to use american spelling but i usually end up using both at the same time mixed up with each other
Bri'ish English, not only looks be'ah but awso sounds much be'ah van American English.Aussie English is awso pre'y nice, vough.

>>222409078Bri'ish.
>>222409211
>>222410404Because it looks and sounds better in both cases.
>>222410506
>>222409078you don't need to speak either if all you're going to do is suck me off
