The sister of my ancestor immigrated to Massachusetts in the XIX centuryI wonder if any american here descends from her
>>222412053go there and trace where she went
>>222412053If she had children it's certainly possible. Unlikely, but possible.I love this picture BTW.
thats crazy. the brother of my ancestor immigrated across the river from my family, and occasionally i meet people with my last name from across the river. Not sure how to feel about them. I think we need to fight in the streets with sticks to determine which tribe is the legitimate one
>>222412053I guess I have relatives scattered across the anglosphere as well since my family comes from a region where people migrated all over the world. One of our surnames appears in over 600 records in Texas and a few hundred more in California, Connecticut, and Indiana
>>222412053Likewise, according to my Dad, we have Portuguese ancestors that moved to Brazil instead of America. Maybe we are related
>>222412053I have close family in the US. My grandpa was a half-British Protestant, and two aunts who remained Protestant married Americans from their church.I have family in the UK itself too. My older relatives still keep in touch with them, I think.
