what happens here? I never hear people discuss it
>>222413293happiest state in the US, people go there from all over the world, very chill and low crime rate, but very expensive. I wish I was there it's like a different planet feels like you're on the world's edge for some reason
>>222413293They need independence and all white "people" forcibly expelled back to the US.
>>222413310iirc like 1% of the hawaiian population wants independence, its basically a non-issue
>>222413323I don't really care if they want it or not, they need it.
>>222413332>they need to be liberated from our money o algo
>>222413332I don't care if they choose to stay or leave (i'm supportive like that) but Native unmixed Hawaiians are like 9% of the population so unlike Puerto Rico where not much would change if Americans left, you'd see Hawaiians wandering around ghost towns lollike most suburbs and buildings would have to be torn down if they don't want a relatively small population just hanging out in a post-apocalypse looking setting once nature tried to reclaim the buildings
>>222413310>>222413332We should swap you dirty people out for something better
I'd love to move to Hawaii but it's absurdly expensive and the jobs that do exist there do not pay well. There's the possibility of working remotely while living in Hawaii but that seems really scummy. You're pretty much pricing native Hawaiians out of their own homes
>>222413293meth and homelessness in paradise, resentful "native hawaiians" who are really just filipino/portugese mutts, mentally ill hippies from the mainland, extremely expensive everything, tourists, huge swathes of land on the big island owned by celebrities/billionaires. good fruit
>>222413293Only been to Maui, it was beautiful but it's not for me. The Oregon Coast is just as beautiful, not as hot, and I can drive there in 30 minutes
