When I watch old Hong Kong flicks I don't want half the cast to be white
When I watch Bollywood I don't want half the cast to be Chinese
When I watch anime I don't want half the cast to be Indian
Then why is half the cast non-white when I watch Western media?

America is 50% white

The difference is that Hong Kong isn't half white. America is in fact half non-white.
