If you mean consumerism is dying then yeah. A lot of closing jobs and stores that people actually go to are basically giant warehouses. Everything is too far apart to have frequent customers unless you're in a city. The US for the most part looks like a tacky liminal horror reel.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, you just need to start fucking in these places. Tacky liminal spaces are perfect fuck zones because they're both public enough to add a modicum of risk but safe enough because there are so few people around that you probably won't get arrested.
