NEETs, Mentally ill autists, and miserable people across the globe, gather here and share your experiences in your country. How are you and what have you been doing lately? Me? I am a 33 year old NEET. Recently binge watched Makoto Shinkai movies. They were nice wish fulfillment.
>>222448621How long have you been a NEET?
>>222448904Nearing a decade at this point.
>>222448621I'm a 36 year old neet and I'm feeling fine. On my way to my friday evening volleyball group.
>>222448621
I'm 31 and an hopeless alcoholic, being alive sucks
If you can afford to NEET you have no right to feel sad. Working is the source of all unhappiness. If you feel unhappy as a NEET just go use your free 16h/day to solve it, retard. I hate depressed faggots. >Boohoo I have nothing to do I feel so empty and sad!!If I could NEET I would simply be the happiest person alive. Fuck you
>>222448945Well, you have NEETbux and social safety net for old people in Germany. I suppose you're allowed to be relaxed. We have Neither in India and that is the source of my despair.>>222449009Do you have a job anon? Do you have alcoholics anonymous in Brazil? If so why don't you try one?
>>222449212Dude start looking for a job. Better to clean cow shit than starve.
>>222449124>If you can afford to NEET you have no right to feel sad. Working is the source of all unhappiness.I am poor and my parents are ageing. We don't have a steady source of income and that only jobs that I qualify for are practically slave labour. You don't understand the despair anon. Watching your friends have decent careers, marriages and children while you and your parents rot.
>>222449245You don't think I've tried. We are trying to revive our family biz and if that doesn't go well, I'll try low wage labour or free lance video editing or some shit.
>>222448621PermaNEET. 34yo. NEET since 9th grade so 19 years, almost 20 soon. Life is good. I live comfortably. I have hobbies like cycling, fishing, building model kits and I play a lot of vidya. Been on a weight loss journey lately, lost 12 kg since January so feeling pretty good.
>>222449270Why don't you study something/ work towards some career?
>>222449341I don't know what to learn. I wanted to learn coding and almost everyone I asked told me I have no chance at succeeding in the field with an 8 year career gap. Most fields are inaccessible to me with that career gap. If our family biz doesn't work, I may try video editing but other than that I have no idea of what to do.India has an abundance of labour (to say the least). Every field is filled. What do you do for a living?
>>222449335How are your parents taking it? How much do you get in NEETbux?
>>222449270Well sorry friend. I'm well aware that "neet" actually describes your situation, but when someone says it, what comes to mind is a fat sweedish living off neetbux or inheritance.Ofc if you need a job and cant get one its a horrible thing. Wish the best for you.Is there a market for 'clean' street food in india? I always thought if i were indian i would sell actual clean street food for people who dont want the slop we see in videos, but i dont know if people want that there. In brazil this is a good buisiness idea
>>222449436>How are your parents taking it?They are pensioners (old) and just happy I have a stable income. >How much do you get in NEETbux?Around €1700/month on the 18th every month until the day I turn 65, then I get normal pension instead.
>>222449439It depends. Tbh, I wouldn't mind a good street food business but I'm in a small town and most people aren't going to pay for quality street food. For slop there's too much competition. What do you do for a living anon?
>>222449505Nice. You won the lottery. I wish I had a comfy life like this.
>>222449516I work at an energy trading company, like commodity type thing, like oil contracts. Im not important or anything, but im also not immediately disposable, i structured like 99% of our automatic processess, with webscrappers and graphs and whatnot. But its simple stuff im not a programmer per se.Its ok, i just work too many hours, 11h/day counting commute. But I live with my parents and get to save like 60% of my salary for the future. My dream is to save enough to live as a frugal neetHow about u anon, whats ur story
>>222448945>friday evening volleyball grouphonorary neet status hereby revokedyou are now only neet on paper
>>222449674Hope you have success in saving foe your future NEETdom anon. I graduated in 2015 with a degree in electrical engineering. Got a job as a COBOL coder in one of those IT bodyshop companies which I quit because (I thought) there wasn't much scope in it. Then I tried for government job exams unsuccessfully for a few years. When that didn't work my father insisted I stay at home to help with the family business....which he hasn't started till now. There's more but that's the gist of my NEETdom.
>>222448621Anyway. I am going to sleep. Apologise if I can't reply ant comments after this.
>>222448925Did you complete your uni studies and turn NEET right after? I did that and I'm 3 years into NEETing but really I've been rotting since the start of covid lockdowns. The past 6 years have been a complete blur for me. I am a self defeatist and when I have a sober moment away from video game and porn copes, my mind is plagued with social failures from the past due to me consistently self sabotaging.. so I retreat back to my computer. I wish I wasn't such a fucking coward
reminder that negative thinking amplifies amygdalar signaling, exacerbates stress and kills you faster be happy!
>>222448945Based, how much money You get from givs?
>>222449270I'm not even joking, why don't you scam western niggas? The odds of any sort of repercussions coming your way is basically nil. I'm not saying you should, I'm just curious, if your predicament is as bad as you say, then why didn't get to it? You seem to speak english well enough
