And pretty much the entire northern parts of the country (like 57% of the landmass I think) is dirt cheap due to lack of "modern" jobs and a lot of rural areas, wilderness and small towns. My younger brother for example (age 22) moved to Gällivare up in Lapland and works at the LKAB mine in Kiruna. He paid less than €10k for his 3 bedroom house with a big square of land. It's about an hour commute into Kiruna from Gällivare but since he works the mine, he works weekly shifts and sleeps on site. But I have a feeling a lot of zoomers and other people here in Sweden are terrified of stuff like that. So they pay a fortune for some tiny box in Stockholm and work in an office instead.
