What happened to these cars?Used to see them everywhere 10-15 years ago. Saw one for the first time in years the other day.Did they all get scrapped? Are people too ashamed to drive them?
years of min maxing German autism and austerity has lead to thispeople will blame greedy management on this (which is partly true) but the fact is that even engineers will often deliberately choose weaker parts because they still fit the spec because "why should we use this better thing when the slightly worse thing also works???"it's a cultural thing
