44°C?! Damn those poor frogs are getting fried!
>>
>>222476408
44°C is nothing. Just wait for July.

>>
Can't even imagine +40 all day
>>
>>222476347
It won't happen.
>>
>>222476408
We are solid. It's every year. But not 44°C, usually it stop at 41°C.

lads im starting to think global warming wasnt a meme
>>
>>222476347
we should try bombing american radars and see if the same thing happens to us that happened to iran
>>
Half of my neighbors still laugh at me for buying an air conditioner because "it's just a couple of days like this" (meanwhile it's like half the year)
>>
>>222478196
It's hot during summer how could it be
>>
>>222476347
for spain probably not too uncommon, for france definitely not common
>>
>>222478367
It became common for at least a decade now. Every summer we reach 40°C in my city. But this Monday and Tuesday, it will maybe reach 45°C in some cities. Also our nights are high too in big cities and that's that which makes it unconfortable.

Hell
>>
>>222478196
I checked average temperatures by months for my city since 1860.
March became much warmer somewhere in 1960. Longer Autumns and overall average yearly temperature spiked up somewhere around 2010.
>>
>>222477624
that actually seems quite spicy, good luck out there
>>
>>222476347
Blessed weather will retire some more boomers.
>>
>>222478196
It's not.
Even 20 years ago a heatwave above 30 C here was once a year, and we'd hit 32. Now we get them 2 or 3 times and they top out at 35 or more.
>>
Oh and remember this will be one of the coolest summers for the rest of your life, it's only getting warmer from here
>>
Gee, maybe global warming (or whatever we're calling it today) is really happening.

Maybe it's not a hoax perpetrated by the opposing political party.

Maybe we should take it seriously.

Maybe we should do something about it while we still can.

):
>>
>>222476347
it's been normal for the last 7-8 summers
when I was a kid the hottest it would get is the mid 30 for a day or two and the average temperature was in the mid 20s
now we just deal with mid to high 30s for weeks with the occasional 40s spikes
>>
>>222476347
No, but it is still much less concerning than the increase in average annual temperature.
>>
>>222482187
I googled some info and France had spikes above 40C even in the 19th century.
>>
>>222476347
it's trying to recreate napoleonic france borders
>>
>>222482217
The difference is that this used to happen once every other decade but now it's every year, all summer long
