Why did they change the name of Turkey?
They were mad that they shared a name with a bird
usa has something to do with that i belive
there's too much sugar in it now so they can't legally call it turkey anymore
>>222480231idk but it's working just as well as the renaming of twitter so far.
>>222480231türkiye is what türkiye is called in turkish
It will be Kurdiye in 50 years anyway
>>222480417cokexico
>>222480267Actually it was the birds who sued them because they resented the association with turks
in sweden soon after the ukraine war started all media outlets suddenly stopped using the swedish name for belarus (vitryssland = "white russia") and instead started calling it "belarus" (which also means white russia) as some kind of weird political statement, like they want to avoid the association of russia and belarus somehow, even though they are close political alliesin the same organized manner they also suddenly stopped using the word "women's football" and now just calls it football so that when you see a news article about "football" it's all confusing until you look things up and realize it's womens footballanyway I'm still calling it turkey and everyone else does too the name change was a failure
>>222480392no it's not

>>222480231The Jews did it.
