I think this has to be the result of some deficiency

Other way around. People eat too much fibrous garbage and sugary shit that has 0 nutrition. You need to eat nutrient dense food i.e. meat, eggs, dairy etc. Balding specifically has more factors to it, but eating like a vegetarian will not help.

Ok, you can't be sedentary any longer because it catches up to you with pain in weird places. So if you are 35 start taking a 1 hour walk everyday if you don't, thats enough. Otherwise it's just that all your relatives gets very old and starts to drop off.. not that fun to go to multiple funerals every year.
>>
>>222498594
This has nothing to do with it afaik
It's an endocrine thing. And vegetarian diets are perfectly capable of providing adequate nutrition
>>
>>222498863
>vegetarian diets are perfectly capable of providing adequate nutrition
They're 'adequate' if you include dairy and eggs. Vegetables and fruit do not have the nutrition you think they do, its called bioavailability.
>endocrine thing
Hormone issues, yes and directly related to the nutrition you're getting (or lack thereof). Your body needs fat, protein and nutrients that are most bioavailable in animal foods.
>>
>>222499098
Maybe if someone is living off raw celery and rice they could get some thinning. Caloric restriction and overly quick weight loss can do that. Pattern hair loss is hereditary and hormonal though. In particular the sensitivity of follicles to DHT. Malnutrition can affect hormones but you'd probably see other issues if that was the case.

>>
>>222498281
Hair sensitivity to DHT is genetic and can vary amongst people, and so the age people start thinning their hair (some happens only in their 40s, others are bald by 25). Hell, it can even happen to women, it just rarer because their have way less DHT. In the end, >>222498722 is mostly right.

I genuinely believe men age like wine if two conditions are met: not getting bald and not getting fat (most men do however).

The wrinkly mature look suits men to a point.
>>
>>222508530
As a faggot I'd rather a guy be bald than fat. I like dad bods but if he looks like a ball he loses his manly definition. Also if you're looking for guys past college age with the same hairline they had at 13 you're going to have slim pickings
>>
>>222508782
Too bad women don't like baldness
>>
>>222508825
Then like I said they're going to have a harder time, especially if they're going for men older than they are. Setting absolute standards for stuff like that is just weird.
>>
>>222508782
>Also if you're looking for guys past college age with the same hairline they had at 13
Norwood 1 isn't optimal for older men. Look at botched hair transplants, it just looks wrong. It is actually better to have a slightly receding hairline when you're older than a perfect square.

I'm just gonna hop on finasteride once I start noticing signs. The small gamble of getting ED is far better than being bald.
>>
>>222509797
I did this and no regrets, got a decade on my hair at least even if it did nothing.
>>
any guy with money can just get a hair transplant
>>
>>222510176
Yeah, NTA but a lot people look old when they are fat. You see some fat guy in his early 20s who has a beard and think he is 45.
>>
>>222509797
You sound like me when I was actually balding and told myself the same thing, waiting for 10 years for the hairloss to progress until I finally got a grip and got oral min and Dut prescribed. These days I would just take it preemptively because hairline and temples are near impossible to regrow since DHT attacks them the strongest and they’re the first to go.

My grandfathers both had plenty of hair at an old age and I don't see any signs of balding while nearing 30. Shame I didn't get their beards as well.
>>
>>222509797
I've been on fin for several years and I don't have ED. I'm horny as hell and I'm almost 33... I don't think it's the fin that causes ED, I think it's something that tends to happen to guys around the same age they start to go bald.

>>222494984
Balding is 90% genetics, skin aging is 90% sun exposure.
He just has the balding gene and is a normie that spent a lot of time in the sun(maybe even tanning), not hard to explain.

change things before you turn 30. from then onwards it's nothing but downhill in all imaginable aspects. I'm 40 and I feel like I'm 60. I don't mind kicking the bucket at 50, I just don't want it to be painful
see? is that what you want for you?
