Americans brought this cancer to my country
Some italian restaurant in my city does that. I always feel pressure when they tell me "if you feel like it, you can tip us!" and end up giving them 2 or 3 euros...
It's even worse here.Restaurants started automatically adding 10-20% and you have to ask to have the "tip" removed.But nobody does it because asking the waiter to remove it is embarrassing.
