In a country where 90% of marriages are arranged I always dreamed of a love marriage. I even rejected two marriages my parents tried to arrange. In a country where we all love Bollywood happy endings but don't live that way I chose to be different. But it's hard to find a woman who wants a love marriage. You can find somebody who will secretly date a bit but you know it's just to pass the time until her parents tell her to marry somebody else.Well this was just like Bollywood I'm still in shock... I was walking home at night in a pretty empty area and listening to music and a woman on a scooter honks (I didn't see her and I was jaywalking) and I get knocked to the floor. I apologize for being a fool and she just goes "It's okay I just want to make sure you're okay" and she helped me up. Her hands were so soft and her eyes had a blueyish greenish hue to them. I took one look at her and was in love. She asked my name and we exchanged them. I apologized again and she said it was okay. She asked if I wanted a chai and I said sure why not and we went to the chai stall and started talking. She's a student and she's super smart. I was in shock: she plays 3 instruments, speaks 4 languages, is finishing a double degree. I just felt this admiration for her. I blurted out if she wants a love marriage or not and then was like "holy shit did I say that outloud" and she looked down and said "Well... Love yeah" and we're going on a second date.The point is if your country has rules or culture you don't want to live by then DON'T. I'm in LOVE in INDIA and I think she's the one! I always knew I could have a Bollywood love story! Most watch Bollywood wishing they could live like that and now that's really me!!!
What's her caste and what's yours? You should only do a love marriage within caste with parental approval.
