My AC is on at full blast from March to November even though I live in Canada. I hate having the slightest heat sneaking into my flat.

I don't care about the electric bill because it's included in my rent, so it's my landlord's problem. But electricity is very cheap where I live and a small AC unit doesn't consume that much.

If I were to lose access to cold air in the summer I would probably kms to be honest.

The cheap window units don't fit in European windows.

Summer is very short and I spend a lot of it outdoors.

I used to have anemia until last year so I used to be cold all the time except for summer which was the only season I liked temperature wise

I am currently sitting in my Ford Fatass™ with the AC on.

Nice. Am planning to go fishing up in the mountains next week. It's only 90°f up there when it's 100°f down at sea level.

is it true you can power ac with solar panels?

No wonder the earth is cooking lately, fucking nuke americans

I don't think so. You need to ask your governement to install one of these. It's unlimited cheap electricity for a slight destruction of wildlife and some Indians up North getting mad at you. 100% worth it.

I could buy a house but it's not worth it when I can rent an appartment downtown for 800 Canadians pesos. Everyone wants a house here so the price don't make sense.

I hope that Central Europe will share its heat weather with us. The nights are still quite chilly for my taste.
I'm planning to go hiking in the wasteland of Lapland. Last time I found a small canyon where a herd of reindeers had fallen and the bone pile cemetery was quite a sight.

That sounds fun as heck. Last hike I went on up in the mountains above LA I found an abandoned tunnel that was part of the old disused mountain highway system. It was partially flooded and had cool glow worms in it.

Can't speak for western Euros but it doesn't get that hot here. Might be 2-3 weeks at most per year where it's unbearable.
>>
Canada's energy price per khw is some 2.5 times cheaper than the EU. Duh.
