Post floppy generations know of floppy because it is often used as a save icon.
Floppy has been immortalized.
>>
>>222812379
The know the icon but they don't know why it is that icon.

What
>>
>>222812726
They wouldn't equate the save icon to being a floppy disk. They know it as the "save icon", they don't know that the icon is meant to look like a floppy disk.

Yeah, like how some cartoon doctors have that disc over the forehead to denote that theu are doctors, even though most don't know what it is (a parabolic mirror directing light, made mostly obsolete by pen lamps).

I was born in 1999 and first family's PC at home used floppy disks
>>

We also used floppy disks to adjust the shaking desks in our class of informatics at school.

What'chu mean?

Before iPhone, every rich kid with business parents in my highschool had a Blackberry. Aside from the full keyboard very convenient for messaging (compare to a numpad), it had its own message network which used data and was much cheaper than SMS. Also it was encrypted. Basically it offered iMessage before iMessage. This created a network effect just like iMessage too. Other phones were second class.

keyboards fucking mog touch phones and it isn't even fucking close, been using the pixel for 5 years now and its just total fucking ass to use compared to the old BB key one

Do you have one of those phone keyboards that plug into the USB port.
After much consideration I've determined that this is not autistic and should be a basic aspect of owning a phone for any self respecting person that really uses it like a tool.
