A large proportion of young men are unemployed and experiencing life from their bedrooms
>>222873493It's better than having a job.
>>222873515How old are you
Why does society hate the ugly and deformed (us) ?
>>222873493I'm employed and while it helped me break through some social anxiety barriers I'd rather just sit at home and play vidya with friends on some form of passive income.
>>222873493me right now, but im watching the footie and playing vidya
I miss being unemployed and experiencing life from my bedroom. No joke
>>22287354934.
Yes
there is no greater humiliation ritual than employment
>>222873616The average age in Apollo 11 mission control was 28

>>222873754He wants you to be ashamed by comparing yourself to those successful guys
>>222873711The average life expectancy during the height of the Cambodian genocide was 13 years old.
Sorry but I am not a loser. I am employed AND experience life from my childhood bedroom. TAKE THAT
>>222873493no skill no luck no body no penis
>>222873711Universities weren't just waste paper factories back then. You could trust that if someone came out of MIT in the first half of the 20th century they could be trusted to perform proper science. Nowadays unis are just an extension of high schools in a lot of cases because a degree is simply expected.
>>222873838TAKE ZAT*
>>222873493no pussy no work
Working but still living with your parents until you have enough to partially retire has been for me the best way to live. I save up, have free time because my mom cooks and does my laundry (in return I buy the groceries and clean the house), and still sometimes go out with friends or manage to occassionally get pussy (by lying and pretending my parents house is my house when they're away).Don't understand the people who plan on doing this until they die though, they're just unhinged to me.
>>222873493ill get a job this year 31 is still young
>>222873493I am employed with a do-nothing 6 figure remote job and experiencing life from my bedroom

>>222879323>unless you’re some credentialmaxxing foidIt's cause they get to fuck the foids they hire
I don't understand how someone can claim to be 30+ and never had a job. what have they done the past 10 years? an entire decade?
>>222873828Do you mean the global average life expectancy?
>>222873493>It's cause they get to fuck the foids they hirethere will be morehttps://youtu.be/MgQ2TeCka7I
I literally can't move out away from my shitty parents. That opportunity closed with convid. So now it's either being an incel neet at home or paying 3000 a month to be an incel neet in a one bedroom.
>>222873711Boomers fucked everyone over so hard it's incalculable. I could've been working a proper job straight at 15 if I was born in the 1950s. Now I'm fucking doing a degree in my late 20s. 15 years of FTE lost because boomers doing everything and anything they can to screw over younger generations.
>>222873774>He wants you to be ashamed by comparing yourself to those successful guysI was born without the part of the brain that does that I guess. Could not give any less of a shit what others think of me. >34yo permaneet >same apartment since I was 18 >never had a job >don't bother shaving or cutting my hair, look like hagrid >don't even notice people when I go to get my food or drinks Life is good.
gonna goon now looking at the photo of that cute spanish girl from interpals
>>222879390>what have they done the past 10 years?I left school after 9th grade. Normal NEET but with diagnoses from age 18 to 30 so no demands on me except renewing my sick-note thing every three months (online). At age 30 I applied for permabux (sjukersättning) and was approved instantly. 34 now. As to what I do? I chill. Fish, go for walks, play vidya, watch movies, read books, listen to ungodly amounts of music, visit my parents a couple times per month, sleep, eat, jerk off..It's the perfect life for me.
>>222879788I read this as "I play video games, maybe once a year I'll read a book and go fishing"
>>222879839I can't game for more than a couple hours a day. My back don't approve even with an expensive chair. I read 4-5 books per month. Mostly fantasy which makes the book-snobs furious (can only read weird Russian shit according to them) and I go fishing once or twice a week in the summer. I love fish and free food is best food.
>>222879788The more of Sweden the more I realize it's just a neet state that's being upheld by somalibux
>>222879889How is your back fucked at 34 if you have never worked and spend your days walking and fishing?
>>222879916I have psoriasis arthritis in most of my joints. My back and sacroiliac joints are the worst. Get inflammation in them constantly, makes sitting painful.
>>222879289What do you do with all that money
>>222879390Go for walks, play video games, do a lot of reading and writing, wasted a lot of time here on 4chins arguing about pointless things. I'm just content with not doing very much, although I go through periods where I'm pretty manic and do a lot of exercise/writing for a few months at a time. I also don't really have social needs or a sex drive.
>>222880291How do you pay for this lifestyle, does the UK have sufficient neetbux?
>>222880315I get a small amount of NEETbux per month (~£430), but the only reason I'm able to exist in this state is because I live with my mum who gets two pensions + disabilitybux.
Ya I'm extremely lazy as well, no job or school. I like reading books though but can't focus half the time that drives me nuts. When I can't focus then my life feels pointless and like hell.
>>222873493I work 50 hours a week and I don't understand how I feel broke. I buy food and some other things here and there and that's it. I'll never own a home.
>>222873493How do they get money to pay for place to stay or food to eat?
>>222880795Live with parents or in Nordic countries like here we get neetbux.
Canada sucks, you only get neet bux if your a immigrant. Anyone know how to get neet bux in Canada?
>>222882046You a girl?
>>222879390covid stopped me in my tracks in my mid 20s and i just coasted since then
>>222882110I remember 2020... About to move out of the house to start university at the ripe age of 23, was gonna backpack around South America for a bit first, had saved money for both. Pulled myself out of a bad depression in 2019 where I gained 60 lbs. And then covid fucked me over and forced me to NEET and be trapped as an incel hermit with my NPD bitch mother for 2 years, in which I am still stuck because I gave up with moving out the house and had to start uni here unless I want to graduate at fucking 32.
>>222880251I bought a small house and buy nice things whenever I feel like I need them. I can have anything I want as long as I don't want too much. I never have money troubles, but most of it goes into savings.Mostly it buys security and confidence and a hedge against future unpredictability. If I got laid off right now I could go years before it was an issue, if my car dies no big deal, etc.
bad parenting/mental illness
>>222873493I wonder if we're actually living in a hard time or do most adults of other generations experience something like this.
>>222873493If I stop working me and my parents are off to the street.
>>222873493Based. You shouldn't work if you absolutely have to and can't make a living in any other way and if you should work you should work the least amount of time needed to sustain your lifestyle or atleast have a job doing something you at very least tolerate.
>>222873493And?if you have nothing to look forward to in life then just slowly rotting to death is the best and most rational choice, and the longer it goes the more >bro just like put yourself out there go to school or somethingbs type of advice stops working, it's a vicious cyclebeing a weight to others is not a pleasant feeling but the entertainment copes got you covered, ultimately success in life is almost never guaranteed and you can spin your wheels with no results for a finite amount of time before burning out and saying fuck itmodern first world life also made it easier than ever to sustain such a lifestyle, if you needed to hunt shit to survive you simply won't be rotting in your cum stained bed all day
>>222873493Wow, he's me!God my life is shit. I hate being such a loser. I really identify with those bits in the first episode of futurama.
>>222887811Just freeze yourself then fuck a cyclops in 1000 years
>>222885772this for me
>>222885772Not entirely. Job market is so fucked here you people have no idea.
>>222873493I can't get a job and I very much prefer it that way. I did study and plan to go further into something. For now I just do the things I would do if I had a job, but instead I have another 8 free hours to spend doing more things. A wageslave may cope and say that this is a bad thing, but deep down they envy the freedom of an unemployed person especially if they are better looking and happier than them. LOL hahahahaha.Everyone is retarded and 90% of everything could have been automated 30 years ago if any responsibility or trust could be expected from a random individual. We might have even noticed that all of this shit we were servicing or producing was not even remotely necessary for anybody.
>>222873493what's the solution?
>>222889444end of globalism.manufacture should be returned to domestic industry.
so are more and more people just going to become unemployed then
>>222889725yep. it's still their fault and they should get a job though.
After the turbulence era is over there won't be a job market in the traditional sense. There will be only small self-employed family teams and mega-corporate state empires.
>>222873493I'm experiencing life from my bedroom with a job because I work from home
>go to uni because it’s a requirement to find a job>4 years of my life gone>send out thousands of applications>after two years of this shit, I land one and it’s not really in my field, it’s just adjacent to it>made redundant after only one year>unemployed for yet another year>try to find one in the field I studied>can’t so have to settle for finding one similar to the one that made me redundant>this new job was so chaotic and toxic I struggled to meet their expectations and got the boot after 6 months>unemployed for another year yet again>try to find another job doing the samething>can’t because my resume now looks like shit>even removing the most recent job fromit doesn’t help>try again to find a job in the field I studied>impossible now because I’m no longer a recent grad and have no work experience in the field>get desperate so I try for an Amazon wage slave job while I figure out what to do>get it and now I’m surrounded by Indians all day>i’m old now so I don’t want another go at uni>decide to get a trade since I can get paid while studying>can’t find one because ‘bro do you even have a pre-apprenticeship?’>do a pre-apprenticeship because it’s only 6 months and I’m running out of options>also get a bunch of additional certs on the side to help me make myself more appealing>try to look for an apprenticeship and 90% of them are ‘we’re only looking for 2nd year to 4th year apprentices sorry :)’, despite the fact that apprenticeships are supposed to be the fucking starting point of a god forsaken trade career>doesn’t matter either way because I still can’t land a job because ‘bro you’re over 21 and that means we have to pay you a liveable wage :/’>the entire time I’m going through this I get no bitches because women obviously want people with money, and the world around me suffers a never ending cost of living and housing crisisI turn 30 in 3 months I’m so done with life
Why does Scandinavia have so many NEETs?
>>222890326I know you don't like Indians and you're a racist but please don't do anything stupid like self harm, go teach English in Asia or something
>>222873515Firs post, best post.

>>2228908879.8% unemployment and increasing here in Sweden. >592 000 unemployed people >143 600 available job positions The amount of jobs available is dropping every year and unemployment increasing. That mixed with a completely broken job market where even the most basic shit requires education and experience? It's gotten so bad that Arbetsförmedlingen (the nation wide unemployment program) had to close down 50% of all their offices back in 2019-2020 and it's only gotten worse since..A big portion of the country doesn't have access to the help and aid needed to even find jobs now. All they can do is apply online. The average number of applicants per job (even for something simple like cleaning or grocery stocking) is 318 people.
I want to be a neet in big city.
>>222891859How is Sweden going to fund it's pension and neetbux system now? More Indians?
>>222892242Our current government has solved it with the brilliant tactic called "lie, ignore and pretend everything is fine". Whenever asked about it they simply ignore the question and bring up something else. They know they have already lost all the voters after failing miserably with crime, immigration, prices, healthcare and taxes so they don't care. So our next government is going to be the social democrats again like for the previous 60+ years before the current one. How will they fix it? No idea. Doubt it's possible. Immigration won't fix it either because they killed that (only good thing in the last few years)>https://www.migrationsverket.se/nyheter/news-archive/2026-05-06-new-rules-for-swedish-citizenship-from-6-june-2026.html>https://www.reuters.com/world/sweden-passes-good-behaviour-law-kick-out-misbehaving-immigrants-2026-06-15/>https://www.sverigesradio.se/artikel/proposal-tougher-requirements-for-immigrants-seeking-benefitsSo they are also leaving >https://www.infomigrants.net/en/post/59037/swedish-emigrants-to-outnumber-immigrants-for-first-time-in-50-years
>>222873711I'll never be a great man and that's ok.What I want in life is as much free time as possible, to see my family and friends, and get married with some kids. Alexander conquered half the world by the time he was in his late 20's. The founders of the US were mostly in the late 20's and 30's. I'm never going to do any of that and I don't care anymore. If I enjoy my life and get what I want out of it, why should I care?
>>222873515I have a part time job so not a full neet but desu if I could get away with not working at all I would. Work sucks, even part time is hard to stomache.
