Brazilians have chosen to side with the darkness...It's over for Brazil.
>going gaga
>>222887779>They thinkNo they don't, they see lower prices and buy it.
>>222887779>gagaIs that some kind of new Chinese phone?
>>222887779One singular iPhone will have them kneeling
>>222887779why are brazilians going gaga
BRAZILIANS HAVE CHOSEN THE BAD ENDING.BRAZIL COLLAPSE IMMINENT.
>>222887779>american tech So iphones
Plenty of people in the US buy cheap Chinese shit because they know the quality difference between the $100 Uepgpeip brand on Amazon and a $500 one from an "American" brand is negligible and they're both ultimately made in China anyways
>>222888491Lol America is home to some of the highest quality most premium products in the world.
>>222888448>BRAZILIANS HAVE CHOSEN THE BAD ENDINGdefinitely since 1500 btw
>>222888553So laptops as well?
>>222887779chinese tech is far superior to American.America is literally subscription scams.
As far as mainstream manufacturing goes I've given up on this competition. China won. They are the best at doing this thing, East Asians in general are. A brutal combination of detail oriented and drone like that nobody else can compete with. This is their thing. We have to lean more into our own things: farming, resources, creative arts and tech/engineering. We can't hold a candle to their manufacturing and it would actually be way worse if we weren't outright forbidding things like Chinese car imports. We punt on most forms of manufacturing outside of that which is strategically necessary, vehicles/guns/buildings.
>>222888353SEXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>222888685I will give you niggas a example.Amazon vs ShoppeAmazon is American; they have dynamic pricing that makes everyone angry. People who signed up for Amazon Prime literally pay more for the same thing because the algorithm decided they are suckers and are willing to pay more.Shoppe is just buy > receive.
>>222888691Nigga they’re just extremely cheap. You can’t compete with a vietnamese guy making 8k a year. China is keeping this system afloat by artificially deflating their currency all the time. The US meanwhile focuses on the purchasing power of its population as its main economic engine. Having the side effect of making its workforce very expensive
>>222888965There are plenty of poor people on Earth but only some of them can actually manufacture something acceptable, and it's all in East Asia. Look at their attempts to move production to India, failing. There is a hard cap on a people's ability to compete. The Chinese can manufacture up to any spec. If the spec calls for lowest tier materials quality that's just what it is. But they can also build something as good as any other if the spec/budget allows for it. That's how this business works. And as others mention you go for "American brands" and it's still made in China, they just have a stronger spec.
>>222888965Where do you think "western" products are made? It's either India, Bangladesh, Vietnam or China.
we are going gaga
>>222887779>greedy american and european companies move their manufacturing base to China for cheap slave labor>the chinese learn their manufacturing process and tech, and make even better products for 1/200th of the price>everyone buys chinese products and love them>western pipo barks at the moon but cannot do anything against it.so many cases
>>222889063India has been growing cotton for British factories for 150 years. Around 20 years ago the british decided to move the factories themselves over there since it's cheaper.
>>222889016India loves Israel so they are rewarded by having things outsourced there.
>>222889063I’m a construction electrician. We use electrical components for hundreads of millions per larger project. Hager, ABB and Schneider electrics are the largest brands in the business and all of those do EU manufacturing. Bulgaria are big on control gears for automated lighting systems. I mention these because it’s the only component i can think of that i regularly see “made in Wuhan” on the box of.
>>22288777999 was a brazilian delivery app that later got bought by a chinese tech giant, so I don't think that's a good exemple
>>222888691>>222888965The US, and previously the UK, are maritime empires focused on banking, tariffs, trade, and the circulation of existing goods. China, or even Europe if considered as a whole or French Empire, are land-based empires focused on control and conquest. That is why maritime empires were able to grant more civil liberties, while land-based empires placed greater emphasis on controlling the population. Maritime empires could create something out of nothing through trade, while land-based empires tended to have greater manufacturing capacity>>222889964Yes, I was surprised, because everyone talks about the decline of Europe, but many countries have their own industrial niches.
>>222887779It's pretty surprising how Chinese cars were seen as junk a decade ago and now Brazilians all want a BYD or Chery SUV.
>>222892749These articles act like it's only thirdies but it's happening everywhere.
>>222887779And what would be the equivalent of coca cola for the chinese though?
>>222888965>it's just cheap doewhy aren't African countries manufacturing at a large scale then? The painful truth is that Asians, especially Chinese, are GREAT at their jobs. You won't get rapid prototyping, product design, manufacturing, anywhere near as quickly anywhere else.
