Did native languages affect the dialects in each region at all?
>>
As a bilingual with mediocre Spanish that has spoken to many, I've found Colombian to be the most pleasant and understandable
>>

chilean.
>>

>best
Peruvian, Colombian, and TV Mexican
>worst
Chilean. Centuries of geographic isolation has lead to it being unintelligible.
>>
>>222889952
>superior
Mexican, espanha norte, colombian
>the worst
Chilean, venezuelan

We speak Mexican, don't mix us with Spaniards. Completely different cultures.
>>
>>222889998
absolutely, andean spanish is completely filled with quechuaisms which makes it sound entirely different from coastal spanish. You can spot someone from the andes within seconds after he opens his mouth

Yes. Even the regions where they ended up being absorbed like here supposedly hold significant native influence, though I think it's also overplayed by our scholars to make a case about how we're totally a direct continuation of the indigenous population to challenge the commonly held assertion of the taínos having disappeared after the conquest (which is misinterpreted by many to have been a colonialist conspiracy to downplay our native heritage o algo)

Patagonia Spanish should be the Standard Spanish in both Argentina and Chile.

I hate the "Sho" sounds from the Porteños.

I think the Caribbean Spanish is charming tho
>>
>>222898111
Which "sho" sound is that?

i thought patagonians said sho too? or do you say zho?

As an English speaker, Mexican Spanish is my favorite because they talk about the slowest of any dialect, which makes them much more intelligible to me.
For worst, I'll have to say Chilean. Because they have a whole extra form of conjugation to go with 'voz,' which makes everything there way harder to understand. Plus they omit syllables from words seemingly at random.
>>
>>222898265
In standard spanish, de "double L" and the "Y" sounds like a "J" sound in English, but Argentinians replace that with a "SH".
>>
>>222893736
Chilean isn't spanish
