aussies be like >yeah that dingo ate my baby but at least we’ve got shrimps on the barbieLMAO why are they like this?

I cant wrap my head around the idea that a dingo eating some poor infant was such an unthinkable event that everyone thought the lady was lying.
Have to appreciate a good barbie regardless of the circumstances, anon
>>222891375You know that shit actually happened, a woman lost her baby.
>>222891411neither are "Australians"
>>222891437I think most people especially locals believed her. The police and media, and jury (influenced by them), and the gossips didn't. Actually I camped out there as a baby as well (though like 400kms away), except not at an actual campsite just out there wherever. Our dog at that time apparently ran off following dingoes for a few days. The family story is he joined a dingo pack, but I think that's unlikely, wouldn't they just kill him? Actually I didn't even sleep in a tent, just in the open. We had guns though.
