Thanks all, really means a lot. I've always abhorred harsh lighting so it's good to see my preferences pay off.
nice place bro
>>222896781
>glass sliding doors to separate roomsI like it, but why not just have an open area?
>>222896722>flag>nice placeeat the rich.
>>222897184Two main reasons, it keeps the smell/sounds/etc. of cooking isolated to the kitchen and also reduces the amount of space the a/c has to work. Most city homes here have that because we have an a/c in almost every room.
>>222897267>a/c in almost every roomwtf how is that allowed?
>>222897381What do you mean
>>222897267Are you the son of a politician? This is not how I imagine Thailand at all.
>>222897381europoor mind can't comprehend this
>>222897482Thailand's nice as fuck. I stayed in a flat in Lumphini back in 2019 for like $15USD a night. Bangkok is modern, safe, people are friendly and the transit is good.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArQpbpuDXFsDon't buy into the propaganda from the incels on here who think the highlight of the world is some shithole in Europe which is just a nog ghetto atp.
>>222897482I'm a landlord. My units rent for 8k baht (250 USD)/month. What did you imagine Thailand as?
I love Thai people and Thailand, the land of tigers and temples
>>222897573That's us. Don't think I see many tigers though. Lizards yes.
>>222896722too dim, it would hurt your eyes while reading.
>>222896722>>222897267>>222897453>>222897555Very neat indeed
>>222896722Yeah looks goodLess white colour of the lightbulbs pays of
>>222897184good place to put dogs or women
>>222896722Nice place it's definitely giving off firstie vibes but I got a couple of critiques:-Get a better mirror than the small one next to your TV with the wavy white borders. Looks kinda gaudy.-Get an actual AC system going, mounted high up on your wall. The portable AC and the humidifier's fucking up the whole vibe. Ideally there shouldn't be anything in your living room with plastic exterior, especially white colored, and definitely not electronics.-The chair in the corner seems too low. Lofty chairs mean elevated status.-If you truly want to larp as an aristocrat get rid of the TV. This one's a stretch though; no one would give a damn unless you truly belong in the highest tier of society, as a matter of fact, most people would find it weird or assume you're poor if you don't have a sleek TV in your living room.-The zebra patterned cover (or is it a blanket?) on the left looks gaudy and juvenile. Change it.-Get a better L couch, it's color looks pale and depressing and it's texture looks cheap. Also none of these matter if you're in your 20s and you're maximizing fun and comfort ;) Really nice looking place though!
>>222896722post your wifes nudes
>>222896722thirdies on /int/ really all do have mansions and shityou can fit my entire apartment into that living room
>>222896722I'm haply you live comfortably but nigga please don't fear COLOUR. The next thing you buy: curtains, a set of drawers, whatever should be something not black or white. Mix and match different trees for your wood, get a carpet, buy more artwork, etc. With that said, it is indeed very "firsty" to live monochromatically. Your interior could pass for something in outer Melbourne.
vas ist?
Nice. I would only swap the blue light for a yellow one. I like tall rooms. >>222896722>>222897550I'll admit, I was prejudiced and thought you guys lived a little more wildly. But I only knew Chang beer and Red Bull, so...>>222897555That looks a bit more exotic. But maybe it's because of the tiles. It reminds me of a waiting room at an office or a dentist's office We only put tiles in our kitchens and bathrooms; the rest of the house has wood or wood-look flooring, more like here >>222897267>>222902197Is that Himeji Castle?
>>222897267That blue light is unreal. Firsties like lamps. I only ever saw LED lighting like that in Korea (or probably high speed gamers here).
>>222896722why the bubbles?
>>222896722show rolexes
>>222896722Are you an upper class business owner?
It looks firstie because there's a bunch superfluous/ornamental crap, even if the things themselves don't cost muchalso the lightning
>>222903459Yeah that's what we call "decoration" friend
>>222904147quite an insightful remark, chum
>>222902197Lego>>222900313That's not a humidifier/portable a/c. It's just a filter. That room already has a permanently mounted wall a/c. And I don't want to larp as an aristocrat, I'm not that affluent lel.>>222902364>Is that Himeji Castle?Yeah.
>>222903458Business owner yes, wouldn't call myself upper class though.
>>222896722Aren't you that fucking millionaire
>>222896722yea it does look like a firstie apartment.you are right, it might be because the lighting is more gentle and isn't that harsh bright white so many thirdies love
>>222897555can I rent a room from you? my only requirements are AC, fast internet, and a desk. I am looking for as cheap a room as possible and can be there within a few weeks. are you interested? I'm an american remote worker currently traveling in mexico, I'd be looking for a place for like 2 months. I am serious btw.
>>222897267>Most city homes here have that because we have an a/c in almost every room. How the fuck do you meet your net zero targets?
>>222904545you know the rules, ass or gas. or whatever thai people use instead of asses and gasses

Siam is honorary firstie.
>>222904545It's an ideal location (near two metro systems, shops, supermarket, etc) so all rooms are currently occupied.>>222904549Lots and lots of EVs. Like over 40% of new car registrations here are EVs now.
>>222904549>>222905172isn't EV production terrible for the environment? how can they be net zero

>>222897267What's with the dark walls?
>>222905195It's less terrible than an ICE car.
>>222896722Looks like a mans place without taste
>>222908045Wife's idea, she thought it would add contrast. LED in the living room was also her idea. She designed the floor plan. Otherwise I'd just live in an empty studio apartment.
>>222896722I'd say it has East Asian ambiance. That's the best way to put it. East Asian cunts have on paper lower standards of living than us and a lower wealth but live with better tech and live longer so it's a wash.
>>222897267>Two main reasons, it keeps the smell/sounds/etc. of cooking isolated to the kitchen and also reduces the amount of space the a/c has to work. Most city homes here have that because we have an a/c in almost every room.High IQ move. My house is like this. You just strategically turn on each room AC unit as heat moves around the house throughout the day countering the suns attack angle. Mexicans and White trash do this here and are mocked for it but it's cheaper and more efficient by farl just isolate areas that don't need the cooling. A window mount AC can be purchased for under a 1 day median wage. You just have to plug and unplug it and turn it on and off by hand room by room which is for some fucking reason disgusting for boomers. We have a huge roof mounted high power AC on the side of the house but only run it sporadically. When it's super hot we just use our window units for an hour or so at a time. It uses like $0.12 per hour and I make $38 an hour so it makes no sense to not use it.
>>222896722It has Asian-American ambience. I kneel.
>>222902402I live in Los Angeles and every fucking east LA Mexican has lighting like that for their fuckhuge Sony TV so they can watch Star Wars slop in comfort
might tidy my room because im jealous as fuck right now
Itt europoors discover even Thailand has better living standards than Europe nowadays
>>222904549>How the fuck do you meet your net zero targets? Not op but we don't turn them all on at the same time, hence the sliding door dividers.
>>222897482That's not the mark of first world. We have nice apartments too but public places are a dump because everyone cares only about the inside of his house. What really says first world is tidy public places.
>>222897267I've noticed Asians don't like rugs/carpets. Why is this? I think bare floors look a little grim.
>>222911631Do you mean carpet floors like this? Too much vacuuming and if something spills, it's a whole thing. We've always preferred wood but in my case we used vinyl. Even Americans stopped using carpet floors in the early 2000s. Also we have dogs.
post the cute doge
