So I guess a blue jay fledgling fell out of its nest and I don't know wat to do. I initially climbed a tree and shooed him to the lowest branch I could reach but he just sort of stood there before flying back down to the ground like the lil' shit he is. Then I threw him into a pot with some chicken feed and water and nestled him where the tree splits but pretty much same as before. All the while a pair of bluejays are freaking the fuck out with one with swooping down at my head. Should I just leave it alone at this point? I mean, I want to help but I'm sort of out of ideas really

>>222903257Yes leave it alone cunt. The "fell out of a tree" thing is a myth. If the parents are around they know what they're doing. Some birds even deliberately let their clutch onto the ground to train them, but they're still watching from afar. If you actually need to raise an abandoned chick, some raw ground beef the size of your pinky fingernail can be inserted down its throat. But you really shouldn't because it will grow up extremely fucked in the head. Birds are too smart and sensitive to grow up around humans.
take it outside and let nature take its course. it will most likely be eaten by ants, but it will die in your house of cold or hunger or thirst because raising a baby wild animal is hard work
wait nvm if its a fledgeling, just let it go. it will learn to fly
