it's been at least 3 years since the great AI revolution

has it changed anything in your country yet? anything at all?
>>
>>222904699
ai is bullshit. all you are getting is autocomplete for software. actual AGI is not even remotely close if at all possible.
>>
>>222904699
Yeah I've published five academic papers, on my way to PhD, won six hackathons, won four scholarships and earn more money than 90% of the western wagies posting on this site while spending a whole lot less that them.
A lot of things have changed for me
>>
>>222904699
Googling became worse, there's a soy reddit ai filling half the page with nonsense
>>
it's actually ai bottle neck because ai big corp is stealing all the gpu and ram, their architecutre is wasteful and sprawling and all they do is buy up competition

real revolution won't be from them because their goal is to hog all the physics, real revolution will be light, local, and persistent memory

are you serious?
>>
It's gonna crash next year, OpenAI and co are burning through cash like crazy with little to show for it, they even started putting ads on ChatGPT because they're getting desperate
screencap this
>>

Yes, I haven't even mentioned the research grants or the gig I just got working as an engineer working for [unnamed western company].
>>
>>222904831
do you have any advice for me? How should I be using AI to structure my life?
>>
>>222904849
My field is literally AI research mate, so it's no wonder its helped me so much.. I work in AI cybersecurity currently.
>How should I be using AI to structure my life?
This is a good question to ask AI actually. Formulate what you need to improve. Make a diary/second brain(look it up) for you and AI to use.
One of the first things I made was a proactive agentic system to help me handle work, study, teaching and social deadlines.

I'm not a tech guy but AI seems like horse shit to me. We have made some advances in technology that has been around for decades, like image editing and search engines, but these programs still need to be operated by humans. When AI becomes sentient I will be interested.
>>
>>222905087
'AI' is a catch-all term that literally rules your life already. It doesn't need sentience for that. And your interest is irrlevant - the more you ignore it, the further behind you'll be.

The biggest impact GenAi has had on the vast majority of the internet is increase spam and misinformation tenfold
>>
>>222905237
2nd worst thing to happen to the internet after giving all the dalits internet access
>>
Fable, Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 Pro all gave me significantly more helpful feedback on my work than any human did. The AI age can't come soon enough.
>>
>>222905301
You're probably unemployed and it's cause of me
>>
>>222904699
yeah I use it to identify parts I need to replace when doing maintence on various things
>>
What people don't understand about AI is that the industry is not meant to hand you productivity or some kind of innovation. It is being built as a resource like manufacturing or the service industry. It will not spontaneously create anything, you have to give it a purpose for it to fulfill.

The reason it's being pushed so hard in America is because America has an abundance of energy and energy potential which is the biggest bottle neck of large scale AI. Same reason there are massive data centers in the middle east, they have an abundance of energy.

Claiming that it's a bubble that is going to crash is a fundamental misunderstanding of what AI actually is.
>>
>>222904699
No, but I'll make it happen.
>>
>>222904699
I tried in a niche i am extremely good at but since our region is afflicted with ( Jews ) pooraq is unofficially barred from any form of global payment except sketchy shit I don't wanna waste my time with.
>>
>>222908328
Sometimes I wish we could sperg out snd burn it all
I fucking hate this kosher planet
>>
>>222908328
Can you not just use a VPN to establish the company in Mexico or something like that?
>>
>>222908431
I'd need to sink a fuck ton of money and set up a payoneer account but while paypal has a brown people ban policy payoneer has a brown people scam policy They just lock down your account and take your money. Plus they dont support all the shit I need to get payment through.
My only option is going p2p and receiving payment through USDT but that's illegal here.
>>
>>222904827
Would be cool if it would happen soon, I've wanted a new graphics card for a while
>>
>>222904699
Literally use Claude daily to assist me in work, like having a really smart colleague working alongside me
