What was your first Dark Souls playthrough like? In your country
I played this game over 10 years ago and didn't use magic because I couldn't figure it outI used the uchigatana whole playthrough

I played Dark Souls 2 but it was too hard a few hours in
I got to the abyss fight and quit because my claymore with raw upgrades was doing fuck all. I only found out about damage scaling after quitting

Somebody told me about the Sens bonfire before I had a chance to look for it on my own, for example. I'm not sure I ever finished that playthrough because I stupidly spent time on my schoolwork, but I knew the whole game by the end of that year. I feel this experience captured some of what they were going for when they designed the game with so many obscure secrets, with the soapstone messages etc.

I got an early copy just before the actual release date. Finished it completely blind, offline only. Ended up using stone knight set + zwei.
