Why does everyone keep dumping their money into US stock markets? Don't you people have stock markets of your own? Why did you give up on Japan?
>>
Same logic as people who use WhatsApp
Everyone uses it so it's less likely to die, so they flock to it

Because I can't even pull up a chart for many of them by simply typing in the ticker name on google, many are listed on 3 different exchanges making it all convoluted, and tradingview/yahoo finance doesn't have a fully fleshed news reel/finance data as they do for american companies.
Even with ASML I bought the nasdaq listing because I dont want to deal with this
>>
because until recently at least you were the fair and square country with the least expenses for investments. this website isn't really even the place to have this talk, but for example china is way too backwards to trust any money with, europe and the developed parts of asia being more expensive. and then places like south america, africa and russia being too retarded third world-esque for any kind of investing. time will tell if you manage to keep being a trustworthy investment opportunity

South Korean stocks have risen 75% this year.
Japanese stocks will likely be overtaken by South Korean stocks in terms of market capitalization in the near future.

1. America is big. Big market makes it easier to make money. More likely to get return for investment.

2. America doesn't care about its citizens and prioritizes profit over them, which makes it more attractive for investment.

Your companies are the best at playing the Jewish stock market game, so I may as well make some money off them
>>

literally the #1 strength of USA is its finance industry , every major financial company is far ahead of most of the rest of the world.

America has a wide range, euro stocks feel closer to boomer stocks that barely move (not all obviously), not putting my money in China as I have no trust in them at all
>>
My country's stock market is unreliable and inaccessible.
It's hard to find info and it's hard to trust the stakeholders.
The companies that are reliable list themselves on foreign exchanges to benefit from the transparent, reliable market with more potential for capital

There's also the fact that the big US companies actually make money

In Southern Vietnam we have a saying:
"A communist can be smart or honest but not both. If a commie is smart then he's evil, if a commie is honest then he's dumb."
This has always been true from my experience. They're either low IQ but well meaning or high IQ but very untrustworthy. You can't trust both in any case

highly common sentiment in "communist" or ex-communist countries. I believe that nonsense was pretty much buried with the fall of the soviet union

I remember when P/E of 18 was found to be alarming and a sign of impending recession. but I guess the world is in fact being enshittified as we speak, for the benefit of me, your owner, and also to make my life shittier, as the peasant

Tech has such high PE’s as a standard that everyone’s just accepted it
No idea how people accept crazy ones like Tesla though at least big tech makes money
>>
>>222909135
TSLAs craziest gains and mini short squeezes happened before Tesla even had a PE ratio
I think AMD was like that back in 2015 too

Is it really outright worse to have tech growth than to have no growth? "Tech growth is less valuable than it seems" I can understand: there are druglike and arms-race qualities to it. I myself would like for my country to spec more into the physical world. But worse than nothing? These companies really make money, it's largely not from government lobbying or other rents, google maps provides value, everybody knows it. Is social media really so bad that it doesn't just offset but outweighs all that?
