I believe this. Do people in your country agree? I cannot take medication for it, since I used to have an amphetamine addiction, and Adderall is just amphetamine in pill form. I could've achieve so much more by my current decrepit age if I didn't have ADHD.

Hyperactive ADHD can be extremely obvious and you can see it exists from a mile away.

very sceptical about a lot of these inattentive and adult cases of a certain demographic though, much more likely to just be depression/anxiety/generally terrible life and choices and Ritalin seems to make anyone generally more attentive and happier

Yes, stimulants make everyone happier, more energetic, and focused. It does not "make a person with ADHD normal" as the myth states. But for someone who is naturally unable to focus well, the different is MUCH more noticeable.

Yes. It's pretty much a curse

Yes, it ruined my life. I was undiagnosed until my early twenties and underachieving. Then I got one productive year where I could function like a normal person, before developing anxiety that shut down my life until I was thirty. I have a high IQ and my job is to pick things up and put them down somewhere else. The anxiety was misery, but going untreated was and is worse. My life is going nowhere and I'll be poor until I die.

I don't get it.

Sorry to hear that man. I'm struggling with underachieving as well. You aren't alone. Have you tried medication?
>>222927862
It is, but I think the internet making lack of attention misdiagnosed as ADHD common has made people doubt it's realness.

Idk if it's just been getting worse for me, but recently I've found it hard to concentrate and keep a straight through... I was diagnosed with it when I was a kid, but that was literal decades ago and now it feels worse than ever. Idk if this shit just flares up and if it goes away. But yea I don't want to get hooked on amphetamines to fix this.

What are the symptoms?
