I believe this. Do people in your country agree? I cannot take medication for it, since I used to have an amphetamine addiction, and Adderall is just amphetamine in pill form. I could've achieve so much more by my current decrepit age if I didn't have ADHD.

It does not "make a person with ADHD normal" as the myth states. But for someone who is naturally unable to focus well, the different is MUCH more noticeable.

Then I got one productive year where I could function like a normal person, before developing anxiety that shut down my life until I was thirty. I have a high IQ and my job is to pick things up and put them down somewhere else. The anxiety was misery, but going untreated was and is worse. My life is going nowhere and I'll be poor until I die.

I was diagnosed with it when I was a kid, but that was literal decades ago and now it feels worse than ever. Idk if this shit just flares up and if it goes away. But yea I don't want to get hooked on amphetamines to fix this.
