Do you look for products made in your country when browsing in supermarkets?
If you don't deliberately look for them did you at least notice which products tend to be made in your country?
For example milk is made in my country and the bottled products that I buy are mostly made here, like water, lemonade, juices. Most vegetables aren't, the national ones are way more expensive than foreign ones.

Used to, not anymore. Only for milk, cause foreign milk tastes weird. Estonian companies can go fuck themselves, most of them hire ukraine slave labor

So your only argument for not buying local is Ukrainian Labour?
>>
I don't need to look, I can tell by how cheap they look
>>

yes, but like 90% of stuff on shelves is polish produced anyways
the only foreign product I often buy is czech beer

I look at the country of origin of every product I buy. I try getting as much as I can from here, meat especially since I like to think our standards are pretty high. Overall it's more avoiding certain countries, Asian ones in particular. Found larva in multiple rice packages from there, now I only buy rice from Italy
>>
there are relatively few foreign products here, and they're usually repackaged locally when they are, besides some exceptions.
frozen peas usually come from spain or turkey, splits peas canada, and produce like apples/pears/garlic/kiwis often come from argentina or chile

But do you look for local products?
>>
>>222935091
Yes, I also read the fine print to know what particular region they're from and whether the producer is reliable.
>>
>>222935091
no local stuff is way more expensive
>>
no and it doesn't really matter, at most I'll go out of my way to buy german chocolate
>>

I buy most of my food from local farmers because the nearest grocery store is like an hour away by car.
Then again I mostly eat pork, potatoes, fish and vegetables.

my supermarket is japanese

I have a Lidl across the street. I don't care where the shit is from, I look for the cheapest possible stuff and buy that. The only food I spend any actual money on is cheese.

I never go in supermarkets, it's a waste of time, I do click and collect.
