China's big clock is growing on me day after day watching videos on youtube, but I might be deceived by propaganda. It can't be that good isn't it? Any Chinese or foreigner that lived there that wants to share its everyday experience?

To add on to this, I was in budapest recently and if you replace all the beautiful old buildings with modern generic concrete/glass buildings and led screens, that’s basically what a top chinese city is like in terms of QoL

It's heaven if you have enough savings, but the work culture is on a dystopian level so not so recommendable in terms of job opportunities.
