Is chinese really hard like I've heard? Is it useful to learn it work-wise? Is chinese internet interesting?
>>
>>222948625
Koreans are sort of trend setters in Asian with regard to style so some Chinese might adopt their haircuts for example.
But they wouldn’t straight up claim to be Korean if that’s what you mean

Says the Chinese.
There half Chinese people in Sweden who have a Chinese father.

Yes it’s quite difficult although imo its easier than Japanese which many Westerners do end up learning. However Japanese has more interesting media which keeps people engaged. It’s probably useful for business but idk about the argentinian economic context. In general though, I think it’s hard to learn a language if your only motivation is professional development

Thanks for answering. I was mostly interested in diving into the chinese internet culture and to be able to read to read political texts. A little bit sad to hear that they lack interesting media to engage in
>>
>>222949947
Okay, if that's what you mean there may be interesting things for you. A lot of Chinese political commentary is untranslated, and there are Chinese political ideologies that are basically unreported on in the West. Even the speeches/manifestos of high ranking CCP officials, including Xi, are untranslated.
When I said media I meant things with mass appeal, like shounen or pop music a la Japan and Korea.
