the state WILL ruin your life for protecting yourself even if you are in the right. did you not pay attention to Trayvon Martin case and how it turned out? holding the state's monopoly on violence is the biggest argument for extreme punishment in american policing. this country is tougher on vigilantism than they are with any other crime.

But you're wrong about the job part. Every factory in the west of Wisconsin is looking for maintenance technicians or machine operators. If I was jobless in the US I'd just go for that.

I farm my own vegetables to avoid dealing with american pesticides and GMO crap and other potential nonsense, farming small scale for just one person is basically nothing, it requires zero effort and barely any maintenance.
