>200 million people
>50 million live in welfare
people either have jobs like Mcdonalds or for the government, there's barely anything to work with beside these two. i was a software developer
>>222943779
lucky. i will get like 400 USD during 3 months and that's it. also something like 15k USD as a "fine" paid by the company.
>>222943808
indeed, but i will try to study and start the gym during this period.
>>
>>222943844
I'll get 4k USD per month as long as I keep fluking my job interviews
Whenever a HR person asks me what my greatest strenths are I'll just break down into crying
>>
>>222943506
I got fired from a job too. Felt good and liberating. Now I'm employed and they like me and kept me around and it's been 4 years and I feel stuck and wanna either escape or end myself.

>>222943910
I'll probably feel the same once the shock has passed. The truth is, I've wanted to leave for a while now but due to the state of our economy and the IT market as a whole, I didn't want to quit.
>>
Dude, shit is not good in the economy. I got let go earlier this year and I am essentially a subsistence farmer now and not by choice lol

>>222944073
My new cope is saving up a ton and investing my money to get dividends and trying to retire living like a rat barely spending anything in 15 years. My new fear is realizing by the time the 15 years passed I'll be too broken and demoralized to enjoy my peace.
>>
>>222944073
laid off would look better on your CV
>>
>>222944447
Not mentionning it and just saying your contract with them ended for any other reason would look better on his CV

You were laid off, if you lost your job because the company is going through a bad time.

"i just got fired" implies you fucked up in some way and were terminated because of that.

I am just trying to help brazilanon.
He shouldn't go around saying he was fired when looking for a new job.
And don't forget that you can not suffer in brazil, especially not with 15k USD severance pay in your pocket.

The barrier between them is thin, it's not cut and dried. Especially since lay offs can be used to target certain workers or departments.
>>
>>222943910
>I lost my job
>Then I got another one and everything was better
Va te foutre.
>>
>>222950302
So there's firings that look like lay offs and lay offs/relocating that are basically firings. You can also trick people i,to taking mental/physical Healthcare leaves and then use that as a springboard into firings/lay off pick or punitive action.
>>
Nobody would hire me. I live in a country where employers will just acxuse you of theft so they won't pay you.

Dont listen for what retard >>222943844 is saying.
Most brazilians work in a informal way, without any contracts or regulations. On one hand this cut a lot of bureocracies. On the other hand it leaves you far more vulnerable to exploitation. No working rights, no paid vacations, no health insurance, no contribution for a future retireing plan, no vale refeição (boss give you extra cash for food), no vale transporte (boss give you extra cash for transportation), etc. What I see tho, living in a big city. Most younger generation work with deliverying. Lots of zoomers wondering around on motorbikes or driving people around as uber drivers. I work selling food via 3 different apps that deliver food to people. Im enjoying because I love working alone
