did you know that Americans are retarded
>>
Pretty sure literacy is dropping everywhere kids have smartphones. So it's less Americans being retarded and more Americans making everybody retarded.

Our high school leaving exams in 2026 were finished with an average of 59% in basic Polish, where 30% is enough to pass. It tests more or less for the same stuff you posted. 6% of people didn't get 30%.

I feel like I got the last chopper out of saigon finishing my doctorate in 2021 right before LLMs became commercially available. shortform content and scrolling social media was present but at least it didnt happen during my formative years

I truly feel terrible for zoomers and the market they are entering

americans are losing the ability to read in general

Did you actually manage to land a job you can keep?

im a pharmacist in a grocery store. i make about 110k a year salaried for 32 hours a week (49 and 15 hour weeks alternating with my partner every 2 week pay period). ironically my dad who is also a pharmacist close to retirement tried to steer me away because he thought that the profession would be dead by the time i graduated because he thought amazon would take over with their pillpack mailorder business. 12 years later its more or less a failed venture by amazon and we are still seeing ~20% growth year over year

we are projected to be one of the least affected jobs by AI (like most healthcare) and in my district we are chronically short staffed with pretty decent job openings with 20k 2 year sign on bonuses being unfilled. I feel pretty ok about my future as it stands

I never knew how much money pharmacists make. Given that Americans are getting older and sicker as a whole you're probably in the right field.

>Americans
You mean zoomers from everywhere around the world
The first generation to have lower IQ than their predecessors
Gen alpha is utterly and ultimately fucked
