Even though I'm Spanish, I don't feel, or at least I don't like representing myself with the flag or the symbols of Spain, because it's not something I feel. Not with Catalonia especially either, though I'd feel a bit more comfortable there. The thing is I'm of Basque origin anyway. So despite what you're saying, I'd never celebrate a title with a Spanish flag or a national team shirt. I still support the NT and I was happy but also very sad for Messi, a human I grew up with and I love (I wouldn't jack off staring at one of his photos THO)

This is widespread across my whole friend group, and I should say that some of us speak Spanish as our first language. But one of my flatmates, for example, was rooting for Argentina, and he was disgusted that Spain won. Spain is a country I love, but also one I feel aversion and contempt towards.
