>Americans have a revolution
>Clean, simple, uncomplicated affair
>Ends with a republic being established

>Yuropoors have a revolution
>Orgy of violence the likes of which the world has never seen
>Ends with a madman declaring himself to be god and executing entire city blocks before declaring war on the whole world

Nigga we went to war

As far as wars go it was pretty standard
>>
>>223310834
It was literally the most simple red vs blue war in history and wasn't killing just for killing's sake.
>>
>>223310823
probably because the french revolution was far more extreme in its reforms. America didn't have a traditional European feudal system to abolish and didn't even end slavery altogether, the stakes simply weren't as high.
>>
>>223310823
America is a garden, the rest of the world is a jungle.
>>
>>223310823
Not a revolution, a secessionist war where you only played a role of a french puppet

>Brazilians end slavery
>clean, simple, uncomplicated affair
>just a law lassed by the princess, that's all

>Americans end slavery
>600 thousand dead

Anon we allied with various indian nations against the British who fought alongside us , do they actually teach french kids in schools that Americans started the revolution to kill natives?

zainichi irish up to their old tricks again

Yes that's the main reason of english chimpout in america, westward colonisation aka genocide
>>
>>223310994
NEVER ask a Frenchman what they did to the Vietnamese.

>America didn't have a traditional European feudal system to abolish
Anon we were subjects of the crown until the Revolution , the land we owned was technically owned by the King until we rebelled
>>
>>223310970
By the time it ended it was about 10% or so.
>>
>>223310994
Damn. So anyways they lied to you lmao. Our westward expansion also involved us allying with various Indian nations and initially we were the ones largely getting massacred by the natives until we got better rifles (they had guns too btw they were not just spear chucking savages) and were taught some of their tactics by rivaling nations.

>the american revolution took place in some backwater colonies with minimal bri'ish presence at a time when the brits were fighting elsewhere with no chance of those revolutionaries projecting power and threatening the crown
>the french revolution took place at the core of absolutist france, threatening the continued existence of the state, overthrowing a powerful aristocracy

>>the french revolution took place at the core of absolutist france, threatening the continued existence of the state, overthrowing a powerful aristocracy
All they did was become the state then purity spiral themselves into oblivion. Then tens of thousands of beheadings later , including a stump necked Robespierre, Napoleon became Emperor. The French Revolution was an abject failure they just got monarchs again until the Revolutions of 48 and then they still somehow got another Napoleon except this one was retarded

yeah, the american revolution had an objectively superior outcome, but my point was more that the stakes for the french revolution were 100 times higher, with counterrevolutionary efforts to match
it makes sense the french revolutionaries thought they'd have to uproot and eliminate any member of the old regime if they wanted to make sure the monarchs wouldn't come back... but then that phenomenon whose name I can't remember took place where once you address 1 (one) grievance the population may have they just start demanding more and more and becoming paradoxically more violent

>nothing changed in London except having a bit less clay to govern

Europeans do not exist in the sense that you can ascribe any sort of identity, behavior or character to them. Who are you talking about? Germans, French, English, Swedes, Northern Italians, Southern Italians, Catalonians, Greeks?
>>
>>223310823
>>223311024
The king was the state you got independence from, what local feudal lords did you have to fight to change the legal order within the colonies?
>>
>>223311370
nta he's referring to the French revolution and all of the subsequent revolutions that followed during the springtime of nations. Greece became Greek, Hungary became Magyar, German idealism began, and so on. There was an entire concert of Europe in the 19th century that couldn't go without a full scale war for 5 years at a time.
>>
>freshly won a revolution, first and only democratic republic in asia at that time
>get invaded by 'US of A

Ain't it crazy that in the 1770s we chimped out over a small tax on tea but now we live in a corrupt dystopian hellscape and everybody is more comfortable with it
