MBS is genuinely the best leader of a country the region had for the past +50 years, not because he is particularly brilliant, but due to the level of modernization he introduced relative to the place he rules over, he is also seemingly building a much more sustainable society than other gulf countries by focusing on developing and exploiting local manpower other gulf countries lack or ignore. I won't be surprised if within a decade or two Saudi Arabia ceases to be a docile welfare state and democratize to an extent.
