I've read that current Euro banknotes have designs specifically selected to not be associated with any given European country because there aren't enough denominations to include every country and if they included just a handful the rest would be underrepresented.This was of course 25 years ago when Europe was still largely populated by Europeans so back then people had the forethought to consider such ideas.In 2026 they selected an american singer, French researcher , German pianist, a Spanish literally who, an Italian faggot and an Austrian literally who for a union of 27 countries vast majority of whom don't speak French, German, Spanish or Italian.
