Which five (5) Europeans would you have chosen for the notes?

Current selection is

>Maria Callas
>Beethoven
>Marie Curie
>Cervantes
>Leonardo da Vinci
>Bertha von Suttner
>>
>>223389353
None of these people reflect my identity.
>>
>>223389442
Reckon Torvalds should have been there. He is far more important than anyone else there. Would have added some Nordic representation as well since he is Finland Swede.
>>
I like how they chose old men who died 500+ years ago and powerful women to reflect the modern time period of a europe that is both female and black.

Worth bearing in mind that these are the only notes anyone is ever going to use ar see in real life.
I literally don't know who any of the women are but the men are good enough choices.

She was born in the states had American citizenship and was embroiled in several scandals. Feels a bit wrong to put her there but I guess the Greeks needed some representation.

I would say it's a decent enough selection. Personally I didn't know Bertha von Suttner, but looking her up I don't mind having her on a coin, she seems relevant enough.
Note that that's not an actual design though, just the right people but it looks AI-made.
>>
>>223391588
Maria Callas is the one that doesn't belong. The rest is fine for a globohomo panel decision.

Adding to this, what other woman with pan-European relevance would you have chosen? Simone Veil maybe, but they avoided political figures (which imo was a good idea). Maria Montessori maybe? But we already have an Italian. Same thing for Hildegard of Bingen, we already have a German and I think it's unknown to most too.

This is all wasted time in any case as one of the bird designs will win, most likely design H which everybody online seems to like.

>>223391649
Eh she's a famous enough artist.
>>
Is there any reason why we don't just have different people for each country?
There is no reason why we can't have national notes like we have for coins.
>But people will be scammed with fake Euros.
A sacrifice I'm willing to live with.
>>
>>223391796
Yeah it's for scams. Imagine having to check if that Maltese €200 bill they just gave you is counterfeit or not. Today's euro banknotes also have a single design.
>>
>>223391827
there is a simple solution.
just have the face be different, and keep the rest of the note the same, this way people will just focus on the rest of the note when validating it's authenticity
the value of being part of patriotic wank is greater than the loss in scams
>>
get my nigga otzi up there
>>
>>223391903
bit weird to have a "united" currency and sharing the designs but demanding to have separate people on them

Though choice because you'd have to find somebody that represented the whole Europe with its christian, brotherhood and brilliance values.
I would choose people there are not boring; just because we are in the modern era it does not comply us to admire heroic acts of war.

>5€
>Plato

>10€
>Copernicus

>20€
>Jeanne d'Arc

>50€
>Pelagius

>200€
>Johan Strauss II (with a better portrait than the photo)

>500€

If there are no Croats on the banknote, it is not acceptable.
>>
>>223389353
Wasn't the idea behind the current banknotes that they wouldn't feature any particular European buildings, to avoid showing bias towards certain countries? By depicting historic people, the banknotes will literally show bias towards certain countries.
>>
>>223392511
A complaint with the current notes was that they were too boring and non-representative, so they decided to risk it. In any case there is also the safer birds + buildings theme in case people dislike having other countries' historical figures on their banknotes.

hello retarded yank, you are a retard seething with impotent rage, here's why: as you said yourself, collector's coins can be used as legal tender in the us, those are coins minted by the us' national mint. european countries also have collector's coins with unusual denominations that can be used as legal tender. what you are talking about however is a bank note, the us does not have purpose made collector's bank notes that can be used as legal tender either. those 0 euro bank notes are made by private companies anyway and not by the ecb, which also discredits your point about the american ny 0 euro note, especially considering there are many 0 euro notes with other non european countries. dumbass yank.

I support your suggestion, anon. Especially with the added monasticism imagery, I feel it would bring a needed piece of European spiritualism and Faith into what moves as metal sterile continental machinery and also bring Europeans to their wholehearthed roots that developed our nations through historical christian fervor.
