Did you know France gets most of its power from nuclear? What an advanced nation!
I've been saying it for years that they need to build 200-300 nuclear power plants within kilometers of the German border.
>>223396018why?
>>223396062Energy exports. German coalburning isn't sustainable. They need to be forced to buy nuclear energy.
I will forever repeat this turbo nuclear tzar bomba, Americans wasted their nukes on Japan should have dropped both on Berlin.
>>223395980We could have been the country with the cheapest energy in the Western world. Our companies could have produced at extremely low costs, making French industry far more competitive and driving a massive economic boom. Instead, leftards and greenwashed tards did what they always do: crippled one of our biggest strategic advantages and left us paying the price.
>>223395980Does nuclear make energy cheap and stable because they dont get fucked whenever the USA starts another war in the middle east?
the uk has a live enegery websitehttps://grid.iamkate.com/
>>223396101The European way
Are decisions irreversible in your country?
>>223397981unfortunately euro peons tend to perfectly align with this shit
>>223395980France has N-U-K-E-S
>>223397981*dies in a heatwave*thats just the way it is
>>223395980Yoy only posted a small amount of Frances energy and consumption data. Just as heads up they still use a ton of carbon in transportation and manufacturing/industry.
>>223395980The French greens killing Superphenix is a crime against humanity. Could literally be living in the future right now if no for them
>>223396101>Instead, leftards and greenwashed tards did what they always do: crippled one of our biggest strategic advantages and left us paying the price.False. The French government initially privatized the state Nuclear company. Then energy resellers all siphoned the profits because they basically middle manned all the money from nuclear plants while the plant operators got minimal returns. Yoy want someone to blame look at all those "privatization" schmucks and the French government failing to back it's state interests over short term reseller profits.
>>223399473Extreme simplification.
>>223397636oh wow, not to derail, but i never knew we had that much wind power
>>223399509Not really, they basically killed research into fast breeder reactors. All because they pandered to a bunch of soviet backed green faggots.
>>223399473explain pls
>>223399563It was France's first attempt at a large scale fast breeder reactor, which would basically solve the issue of uranium being a limited resource by allowing plutonium fuels to be usable (essentially meaning you could recycle spent uranium fuel and use it generate more energy) and potentially allow everyone to be energy sufficient for the next 10,000 years. Soviets funded green terror groups to protest and attack it (including shooting at RPG at it) in the 80s and eventually the green party in France got enough power to shut it down, killing research into the fast breeder design and thus never reaching a point of being more economically viable.
>>223399536it's why energy is so expensive
>>223399687grim, i assume most of the anti nuclear people are just useful idiots manipulated by russia and the arab gulf.
>>223397981Milei is the wayNuke every single bureaucvermin in Europe
>>223399540>they basically killed research into fast breeder reactorsNot really. It just was an extremely expensive problems with several large technical problems. That's the thing inherent on all "first mover" tech, the first to do it has to basically beta trst everything and be the first to do it so they haven't really eay to take advantage of economy of scale. You see that in plenty kf other infrastructure projects alongside several current nuclear plants being built. That'a literally just market reality and economics.>All because they pandered to a bunch of soviet backed green faggots.I doubt that.
>>223399687>potentially allow everyone to be energy sufficient for the next 10,000 years. Please don't say shot like that. That's literal pop-sci broscience. The answer to countering the carbon lobby infiltration isn't to engage in the equally as unrealistic and untestable statements.
Germans made us close our plant to join the EU when it supplied 90% of all our electricity. They were scared of "le RBMK" when Russians not known for a good safety record are running 8 of these reactors with extending of service even up to 2050, they even fixed the problem of graphite channels deforming over time.
>>223399767>. It just was an extremely expensive problems with several large technical problems. No shit it was the first attempt at it, the point was to learn from it and improve in the next iterations to make it more efficient, which ended up not happening thanks to the green lobby who kept pushing towards crappy renewable tech which has even bigger problems like how storage at scale is ridiculously expensive.>>223399809It's not pop-sci though, the entire point of the tech was to approach that point. Even without the recycling aspect you were looking at a few centuries of sufficiency easily, which would have given time to look into those recyclable alternatives.
>>223395980We should stop exporting energy to Germany and use it for AC units, data centers and EVs.
>>223400143>being a nuclear power house>not having aci should bash ya for being so dumb
Green fuckers (definitely not Germany and USA) and LFI (fifth columnists united) want to destroy this
>>223400043>the point was to learn from it and improve in the next iterations to make it more efficient, which ended up not happening thanks to the green lobbyIt's just market dynamics. Plenty of other stuff like this occurred in the past.>the entire point of the tech was to approach that point. Even without the recycling aspect you were looking at a few centuries of sufficiency easily, which would have given time to look into those recyclable alternatives.Even deeper into pop sci and theoretical slop. Why not suck off fusion why don't you?>>223400271France isn't actually good at operating and maintaining power plants. This isn a "muh green party" thing. It's western states kneecaping their own infrastructure and it isn't even exclusive to nuclear either despite what many want to say.
>>223395980The French might be retards in some other areas, but this is the one thing they did well on. They have the cheapest electricity in Europe, due to it. Meanwhile, Germany voluntary cucked itself, and removed most of their nuclear plants.
>>223400201We are ruled by Parisian leftist retards
>>223396101>>223401378>The French might be retards in some other areasPoles are so fucking cocky it's unbelieavable.
>>223401109It's not even remotely the same as fusion, fast breeder tech was very much viable and we know how to utilise the fuel, unlike fusion where it has yet to produce net energy. Even fucking India has managed to make one.
>>223395980i learnt everything i need to know about nuclear safety from the simpsons
