would euros actually let britain back into the EU or just say no out of spite
>>
>>223411001
i would give my life if it meant being in a union with superior anglos
>>
Yes, we're not Russians. Not even apply any extra burden although some politicians would yap about it.
>>
>>223411001
they would, but the uk doesn't want back in. they would get a worse deal than before
>>
there would be a vote and some guarantees they dont change their mind again when another populist asshole appealing imperial mindset wins
and thatd cause an outrage because its just out of spite
so they would not join
>>
>>223411001
yes but this time with 0 snowflake proviledges and they also need to join the euro currency
>>
>>223411001
yes we need more africans and jeets in the union. diversity is our strength.
>>
Why would they replace their beloved Pakis with Poles again?
>>
Imagine a meatwaves of Britishers flooding into the EU.
>>
>>223411001
despite what euros say, the continents 2nd largest economy leaving the union was a big big hit that couldn't be repaired by admitting various 2nd world eastern european countries. the eu would beg to have the uk join
>>
>>223411132
How about no and you do what we say?
>>
>>223411351
why do these supposedly euro flags always talk like they're not european

they should just remove flags because it's so pointless
>>
>>223411371
then i will put a veto :)
>>
>>223411371
why are you talking in your overlords name?
dafuq
>>

As a thirdie, I don't have any business in this but 10 years have passed and redditors still seethe about it.
>>
>>223411132
Unrealistic. The UK is a huge economy that has a lot to offer the EU, which means negotiating power, which means almost certainly some privileges even if not as much as before. They weren't given special exceptions last time from sympathy or respect, it was simply cold hearted negotiation of the EU with a major economy. So it will be next time too.
>>
The process would likely fall apart near instantly over the debate about former OG founder privileges that wouldn’t exist in a new application process. The British pound most notably. Even having a danish solution of keeping their currency but having it pegged to the euro would likely not pass. The UK basically rests on the London finance sector by this point. They would have to restructure their whole economy. Which honestly might not be that bad of an idea
>>
>>223412016
Anon they were one of the founders of the EU. The euro as an idea came far, far later and they were one of the members who opted out of the program all while co-signing the clause stating that all new members must eventually join the program
>>
>>223411132
they can stall adopting the euro indefinitely like sweden is doing on purpose, but having the clause would be enough for them to vote no
>>
>>223411001
>implying they would ask any of us
LOL. LMAO even.

I am strongly against it. If the UK was still a member, the 1984 tier mass surveillance bullshit would have an even easier time passing.

You NEED to go back nigel
>>
>>223412704
>>
>>223412128
They can’t. We’re essentially abusing a loophole that existed in our specific process
>>
>>223412690
You don't sound Swedish either. Trying way too hard.
>>
>>223411121
>and some guarantees they dont change their mind again when another populist asshole appealing imperial mindset wins
How would you even enforce that without them giving up their sovereignty to a foreign country
>>
>>223412094
So one of the founding members who provided the Euro with its first scaffolding to build on as an institution shouldn’t have any more privileges than some Eastern European shithole that joined during the Obama administration?
>>
>>223413329
It’s a debated question innit. Do we have a two tier member system?
>>
>>223411456
>>223412773
can't we all be friends in the spirit of European friendship?
>>
>>223411371
They've turned themselves into a lolcow. They've lost their position to make demands.
>>
>>223411001
From euros I’ve spoken to the opinion is almost uniformly that the UK should rejoin but should somehow get punished first
Euros just don’t get the Anglo-Saxon soul
>>
>>223413358
Empty your balls in my ass
>>
If you are arriving in Gibraltar today, Spanish EU border guards will search you and check your papers. Same applies to Northern Ireland, when it comes to trade.

The EU basically got all their red lines respected and the UK got humiliated.

If the UK rejoins the EU it will be in an even weaker negotiating position and have to accept major concessions.

In fact the UK will have to undergo a mutli-tier screening process like all new member state and this process could be lengthy because as of now and surprinsingly the UK doesn't meet many of the EU's standards for new members such as those in the fiscal realm.
>>
>>223411001
no we won't
