1 - He played only 5 full games to "win" 2 WCs.

4 full games in 1958 (URSS, Wales, France, Sweden), 1 full game in 1962 (Mexico)

That is, he played 5 full games to win 2 WCs.
2026's champs played 8 games.

France, Argentina and England had 6 victories in 2026 and didn't win the WC. Pelé had 5 full matches in 58 and 62 a won 2

Any player like Zidane, Maradona, Ronaldo9, Cafu or Mbappe who reach 2 finals nowadays play 14 full matches.
