But yeah the Swiss eat cheese with apples or applesauce, wouldn't surprise me if they did 'fondue' with apples.>>223414106Went to Annecy a few years ago and tasted one of their supposedly best fondues in town, ate like two bites of it and it sent me with a stratospheric tummy ache that lasted for a good three days, a terrible nausea. Don't know if it was me or the food, my family didn't have any issue with it, and I'm not lactose intolerant or anything like I'm a big cheese eater, but I swear it traumatised me from eating fondue ever again.I have a problem with fondues wether they're savoyarde or bourguignonne. I always end up with a fucked up stomach and sometimes I even projectile-vomit without warning. Meanwhile my family feels just fine. Sometimes it even happens with raclettes but it's prolly because I eat too much.
