Do you think Europeans would choose human designs if it had more prominent figures instead of no name women? I would replace 200 euro bill with tesla and 5 dollar bill with literally anybody else whose name is known

No. It will always be a cavalcade of Westies and Southies. Come back to me once you have Tove Jansson, Linus Torvalds or Mannerheim in there. Until then, it's birds all the way

You are larping as finnish hillybilly?

It just makes it too obvious we have little in common with each other. Who cares about any of these foreigners

Mein Schein, mein Führer!

They need unique notes for every country. Thats the only way it'll be accepted. Like how Scotland has robert the Bruce on their notes while england has some literal who
>>
>>223419364
I kind of wish they did the same as with the coins. For the backside each country has their own design or something.
>>
>>223417923
>>223417955
seconding the cute birbs
>>
>>223419364
this, they already do it with coins
the only danger is that a country may put someone controversial on the notes, like Napoleaon who's equal to Hitler in Spain
I'd rather countries just suck it up, but a more likely a veto mechanism will be introduced to avoid a Bandera euro in the far future.
>>
>>223416991
I didn't know nor care who the people in my money were when I was a toddler. It really doesn't matter as long as the notes are distinct enough.

Why is there an American on the five euro bill?
>>
>>223416991
Yes
>>
>>223419576
It should be so funny to see some random Balkan country like Croatia put a ww2 guy on the highest denomination and cause a huge shitstorm

>Tesla
Fuck off he's ours
>>
Literally who choices of people aside, the 5€ photograph is simply ugly and unflattering. It clashes with the drawn portraits.

That's why design G is the superior one in the historical figures series. Each portrait is in the same style.
>>
>>223417946
Unironically, very progressive. He was a liberal visionary
>>
>>223416991
Marie Skłodowska Curie isn't random nigga
but yeah the 5e bill should be tesla
>>
>>223416991
i don't want people on my bills

>>223419576
Yeah the EU would never take that risk. Same reason the EU won't grow anymore, the only ones left to join would take power away from the liberal left
>>

Literally who is this woman? I don't know her

What, the Serbian-American?

I like mine better. Captures more of the European soul. Da Vinci is reddit tier. Don't know who the women are and (is that Shakespeare?) Shakespear and Mozart are gay and reddit tier.

>5 Euro note
Front: Henry the Navigator and Poseidon
Back: slightly offset inlaid sillouhettes of various era's sailing ships, smallest being an ancient Mediterranean Bireme boat, then a Viking ship, then an Iberian age of explorers ship, then a modern steam ship or something, and then airplanes and a rocket to troll Americans and Russoids into thinking the claim is that Euros invented air and space travel.
>10 Euro note
Front: Napoleon and Klemens von Metternich
Back: Sillouhettes featuring soldiers and equipment of European armies and things representing government, war, and diplomacy
>20 Euro Note
Front: Charlemagne
Back: Sillouhettes of great cathedrals, choirs singing, and with foreground elements of the squared Gregorian chant notes
>50 Euro note
Front: Selected ancient figures (certian Roman Emperors, statesmen, ancient Greek statesmen, etc. that rotate yearly. So for 2027 it might be Julius Caesar, and 2028 it might be Cleopatra, and 2029 it might be Alexander the Great.
Back: Ancient ruins and technology like aqueducts, and yes even the Pyramids for maximum butthurt
>100 Euro note
Front: Aristotle with his ballsack resting on Plato's broad forehead
Back: Math equations and other things reminiscent of ancient philosophy (which included mathematics and natural sciences)
>200 Euro note
Front: Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary
Back: A pasture with sheep

The only persons here I didn't recognize by sight were Cervantes (I thought it was Montaigne) and Bertha von Suttner, who I also wouldn't have known by name, though I have heard of her novel. IMO this is a good selection of people to portray on the bills, it's balanced in terms of both gender and in representing both the north and the south.

Just hand the task of designing banknotes to local branches of an ECB banknote comittee staffed with local appointees in each country. If for some reason they pick controversial figures, the central head of the comitte would veto them. You don't let local governments decide it, so you don't create controversy when their picks are rejected

I am for Design H, the least offensive one.
Checked them all, it's either ugly stylized humans with EU bureaucrat buildings and people in the back, very ugly generic renders of equally ugly buildings with random people cardboards or historical figures with in the background subtly enforced diversity with black and brown scientists and shit.
I think the coins are already a good way to put there as many European figures, art and achievements im different series.

She's Moira Orfei, popular circus gypsy and elephants tamer :^)
