Unless of course its a bender.
i drank friday and sunday with saturday as a break.

I got housework to do that will take me 2 days so will get drunk again wednesday or friday.
Also doesnt help I get SAD in summer so have to manage life around that.

it made sense as to why there was an extreme amount of noise on the roads, people beeping and shouting but I just thought it was an everyday shit that happens.
The team had not won anything for decades as far as I know.
they werent in the big leagues when i was a kid.

I am talking about the premiere league
That also reminds me that man city was shit when i was a kid and now (after I just checked the winners) they seem to be winning a lot.

Anyway the point you are trying to make is just an innate issue with capitalism.
Win league, get sponsers, more people come to see your games, get more money, buy better players, win more leauges in a increasing capitalistic cancerous format.
In a decent sport there would be limitations of who can play in your club, like there is (supposed to be) in national teams.
It would be better if the players were pooled from local people to the club rather than 10 niggers from different countries or some shit like that.
What exacerbates this further is if a team tries really hard and wins the league by skill, then the team is gutted and the big rich clubs buy up all the good players...ruining the winning club.

the english football pyramid is massive. teams find their level and compete for the league they're in. obviously teams who get a few hundred fans each week won't win the premier league but they can win "the league" at the level they're at.

but in theory anyone CAN win the premier league league, literally anyone can register a team and climb the pyramid or enter the FA cup that's the beauty of it. it's why there was such uproar about potentially creating a closed system european super league like the yanks have for each sport

American sports are more capitalistic but they have more parity due to it being a closed system and having rules on new players with drafting and also salary caps. If you suggest this to football fans they start sperging out telling you to fuck off with rule changes and allow the same teams to win every year.

Other leagues it's even worse. Germany has 1 team only that wins every year, Spain has 2, France has 1.

idk what rules there are but its simple logic that more money means you can buy the better players.
now better players dont inherently mean they will win because it is a team game team morale/spirit can push forward, in fact you would think a team of 11 strangers would be worse than 11 friends. Just in simple terms, there are better players and more money can buy them so that is the reason only a few teams win.
Though like I said, my home team randomly won not so long ago, come out of nowhere and I guess beat some of the best players in the world. Looks like they also won the champions league too meaning they beat all the best teams in europe as well.

>>
>>223418569
I explained this already, its why the few teams always win because its a capitalistic system rather than a system built on skill with rules of local players etc.
They gut teams when they win.
With the top teams of every nation (in europe) they basically swap players amongst themselves between seasons as they all have the big cash.

Like blackburn rovers win, they cant pay the big wages to the players and cant buy better players, where the big teams can and the winning team gets gutted.

You cant even fault the players too as football is a young mans game and they only have few years to make the best of what they can before they are dumped on the trash pile.

Blackburn Rovers were seen as the PL's 'moneybags' team back then. Their owner Jack Walker was one of the richest people in the country and he bankrolled them significantly until he could no longer afford to do so. The figures look like peanuts compared to the money thrown about today but there was still a lot of resentment toward them at the time.

Why support a team from a city you dont even live in.
I did used to watch the division highlights on the weekends though, i often found the real unique plays came from not the premiere league but the division cups.

Man city have very few fans and look at them now. Clubs are financial assets. That's why people like Ryan Reynolds bought small clubs, invest millions in the hopes of reaching the prem. The return on investment is huge and if its a stable prem team it's worth is enormous. Fans or not. But teams with fans bring in huge revenue from merchandise and tickets. Still doesn't matter of you're against an oil state team who can pump money in.

I'll sound like rorke but it's true. The issue with the big clubs now is that they are tourist attractions for foreigns who come over here on holiday. Squeezing the locals out. The only time you'll see the locals together is for away games. It's inevitable and makes business sense but it's also a shame for the local fans who grew up near their club. That being said German clubs have cheap(er?) season tickets. I had a friend who told me it's almost impossible to get a season ticket and when you do, if you miss 3 games in that season, you lose the ticket for the next season. I don't know how true that is, but I can get behind that.

Well I was inferring that the correct way is to support your local team, your community, neighbors etc, which for most people would be a generic team nowhere near the premiere league where all the corpo fucks have taken over.

On a related note, didnt that ryan reynolds actor fag buy some english football team, just a random team.

The whole issue is capitalism.
How it should work, how it used to work is your local community support your local people to represent your locality in national leagues.
Like local raffles, fetes, fundraisers etc to support your team.
Capitalism has it so some rich jeet can show 000s on a bank screen and fuck up your local team ramming it with 11 zimbabwe niggers that dont represent your people or town/city at all.

Empty seats.
Sure if it was man u vs man city the seats on both teams would be full but if the man city teams is playing away in some southern city game the seats will be half empty.
i am not sure too but seeing its sky blue seats, same colour as man city, that might even be man city stadium. If their home stadium is empty, that is not a good sign.
Imagine too, you grew up in manchester, saw man U winning as a kid and had a choice of city or united to support, most manchester people probably support united. Same with liverpool/everton, liverpool has bigger fans (but there is a rivalry in liverpool, wirral, birkenhead and the city so i expect both teams have big supporters)

I think you pay a license and one of the rules is you have to move every 2 weeks.
Every 5 years you have to repaint the underside of the boat which is up to £5000. Then there's other costs like wood, coal, water and diesel but from what I understand in the summer you can get away with solar to charge the batteries and in the winter you'd probably only need to run the engine for an hour to charge the batteries.
>>

>>
>>223419174
That was the point. If they dont have enough fans to buy out all the seats in their home town, even fewer fans are gonna travel far down south for an away game.
this is less money for all teams too, less tickets sold.
>>
>>223419110
