suicidal empathy is made up term to describe the way a people is treated under hostile occupation.

Altruism is charity
Suicidal empathy is fake, self serving virtue signaling that gets people hurt.

Theres a lot of naive people who don't understand that good intentions dont produce good results and open themselves up to exploitation by bad actors while intentionally ignoring their behavior. Inviting a homeless man into your house for him to clean up and get on his feet is genuine altruism and charity, inviting a drug addict into your house and ignoring him abusing your children so you can go around and claim how virtuous you are is suicidal empathy. Altruism involves genuine care , suicidal empathy is all ego and produces nothing but evil results.
