whenever you see an 'asian' from Minnesota or around there, they are always Hmong. After the Vietnam War ended and the US lost, many Hmong immigrated to the US because they fought against the communists. They settled mostly in the Midwest. This is the same reason why you see so many Viets in Texas and southern US.
