The most likely attack vector now is probably sea or ?space launched drones that try to disable our infrastructure prior to an actual boots on ground invasion, much like how Ukraine is showing the world right now that a country can be disabled by relatively low cost drones. Australia's infrastructure lacks redundancy, has to service a very large area that is impossible to also cover with AA, and is on a very lean operating model. That is a very technical conflict before totallen-kriegen ever happens. Defending Australia seems to require specialists in logistics, drones, EW, intelligence, which all require picking up a university degree and industry experience, not picking up a gun and running around like a retard in basic. So this immediately excludes me. If anything, the government should be subsidising the civilian logistics and defence industry and not waste tax on retarded shit.
